Back to Compass Point

I went back to Compass Point today to catch up with Jo they all. When we were chit chatting in the meeting room, all those fond memories came back to me. We used to have so much fun eating happy breakfast or lunch in the room and bitching about people. It was really fun working with them and I was really a happy PFC back then (though my sales were really bad).

I really miss them.

Am I on MC or Am I on Leave?

I've not been feeling too well these few days. Coincidentally, I'm scheduled to be off this week. Is this a good thing or not? I guess the good thing is, I can rest well at home. On the other hand, it also means that I'm kinda wasting my off. Nevertheless, I'm happy that I don't have to work this week. Sometimes, when you're feeling kinda tired from work, it's time to take a break.

Remember that I've told you guys that I've fallen down in office last week. My wound is healing fast, but somehow, my arm still hurts. It could be that I had handed so heavily on my left arm that I may have suffered internal injuries? I don't know but I seriously hope that my left arm would recover by itself.

I'm starting to feel sleepy again... It must be the medicine which is making feel drowsy...

Yawn.

CNY Dinner

It's finally weekend. I can't wait for weekend to come as I think I need to have some break especially work has not been too good lately. Thankfully, I will be on leave for a few days next week. I really hope that by the time I come back to work on Friday, everything will go on smoothly.

Alan came to pick me up after work yesterday to go their place to bai nian. My sister had bought the Sakae Sushi Yusheng! NICE!

My health has not been too good lately. After eating some CNY goodies at my sister place yesterday, I had a bad sore throat and flu. In fact, my eyes were swollen, but after a short nap, my eyes weren't that sore. Even now, I feel super sick. (I guess I seriously need to take a nap...)

After that, I went to meet my secondary school friends for our annual Chinese New Year Dinner! Zhanhong had volunteered to organize this dinner at Imperial Court at Upper Thomson.

I would say it's quite a good dinner though the yam dessert was really disappointing. It tasted like BURNT PLASTIC. Other than that, the dinner was quite all right. I don't have much appetite to eat anyway.

After dinner, we went to our usual place, K Garden! We started playing this Cats/Rats game which was very fun. The game not only tests our memory, it also tests our ability to react fast to unforeseen circumstances.

This gathering was also meant to celebrate Jordon's and Yeesu's birthday. But our dear Yeesu only came at 2+ when K Garden had already closed for business. Faint. Thankfully, they were nice enough to let us cut the birthday cake even when the KTV session had ended.

They went for supper after KTV, but I was having such a bad headache that I decided to go home to rest early.

I'm feeling damn sick now... I hope that I would recover soon! Argh! I have been feeling so unfit, and today is the only day I could go running, but... Sigh.

I want good health for myself and everybody!

I had a great fall...

Today is a SUPER bad day for me.

Early in the morning, I had a great fall in my branch. I fell flat to the ground with a loud bang. At the moment, my legs were in such great pain that I couldn't walk for a while. I had no idea how did I fall. I just fell down. Now, my knee cap is totally swollen with blue-black.

This is not all. Just when I thought I could at least go home early, something happened in branch. Sigh.

Seriously, I've been down on my luck from the very beginning of this rat year. (For your information, I rolled down the stairs on the first day of Chinese New Year at MRT station.) I thought my luck was supposed to turn for the better this year?

I really hope that tomorrow will be a better day for me.

Japanese Crispy Seaweed

I'm addicted to the Japanese Crispy Seaweed!

Ever since I've brought home 18 packets of the seaweed, I've been eating that non-stop.

Oh man.

Anyway, I feel super unfit. I was supposed to go jogging tonight, but due to some unforeseen circumstances at work, I came home late and so I didn't go jogging. I really hope that I could knock off a bit earlier so that I could go jogging twice weekly.

I want to have a healthy lifestyle!

Nian Nian You Yu

I was terribly sick last night. In fact, I was shivering in cold and I was sneezing so badly that my nose was VERY RED. I was so sick that I've asked my mum to help me to feed my pets and I went to bed as early as nine plus.

Thankfully, I am all well again today. :)

Gathering

A big Happy New Year to all!

It's Chinese New Year and when I went back to work yesterday, all of us were in our Super Chinese New Year mood too. In fact, all of us were very efficient as all of us wanted to go home early. I'm no exception as well. I know that it's going to be a busy day, so I can't wait to knock off.

Anyway, I do agree with my sister that Chinese New Year is kinda energy consuming. I only went two places yesterday and I was super exhausted. My first stop was Jovan's place, all the way at Lakeside. When I reached his place, most of them were already there except Shixing. His new house is very nice and spacious. And we had steamboat dinner! It's my first steamboat dinner for Chinese New Year! Yummy!

After dinner, we had a tour around his house. And we even watched his wedding video. It was a long video but we had fun talking about it. In the end, we watched the video until so late that we broke the tradition of not playing poker at all. Hmm....

And I saw this in his house... It's so nice!

After that, I went to Yuanzheng's house for second round of gathering! Most of them were already there when I reached. I guess this is simply not a good year for me as I keep losing money. And I would only win when my friends helped me to draw cards. Faint. The same thing also happens when I tried to refresh my memory how to play mahjong. In the end, I had such a bad headache that I decided that I should just go home and rest.

Anyway, I just wanna thank Jovan and Yuanzheng for inviting us to his place! Thanks guys!

Gong Xi Fa Cai

It's Chinese New Year again! It's simply my favourite festival in the year - Coz I can eat my favourite Chinese New Year goodies, my favourite vegetarian dishes which my mum will only cook once a year, my favourite Hakka dishes and it's a good time for family gathering and friends gathering!
