Lexuan's Passport

We collected Lexuan's passport on 24 April 2018!

She's all ready to travel with us now!

Lexuan's first 4 teeth

It's funny that we have been checking if Lexuan has any front teeth coming up. No sight of any teeth until Teacher Annie told us that Lexuan has 4 teeth growing at the side! True enough, we can see some white teeth growing at the side. Haha. Blur parents. We kept on checking her front teeth only.

Not sure if she is experiencing discomfort from the teeth or what, she's very cranky lately. She seems to be coughing as well. Since Friday, she didn't sleep well which means we didn't get to sleep well too...

And she started to feel unwell since Saturday - sneezing and coughing. She can't really breathe well so she kept on waking up at night. And I would always wake up in shock whenever she makes any noise as I was worried she might choke herself or feeling uncomfortable.

Since she's sick, she didn't go school the whole week. I am so thankful for my parents in law for helping to take care of her the whole week. If not for their help, Jianhui and I had to keep on taking urgent leave which is something our bosses don't like. Under the care of my parents in law, she's much better. =p She's back to her cheerful self. =p

Lexuan is 5 months old

Lexuan went for her vaccination on 10 April 2018. She's such a brave girl that she didn't cry much after the injection. In fact, I feel that she cried because she want to sleep and not because of the injection. Haha. True enough, she fell asleep after we put her back to her pram. She must be so shagged from the exercises the PD and interns asked her to do during her review. And she didn't have fever the next day! She's a strong girl!

And she's 5 months old! Time flies, isn't it? I still cannot believe I have been a mother for 5 months. Haha.

She's very good at rolling over on her tummy now, so good that there are times she will roll over in the middle of the night. ZZzzz.. Now she still cannot roll back to lie one her back. She's still drinking 100% breastmilk. In time to come, she is going to start solid food. Another set of problem for us. Haha.

Yay! I completed my first half marathon in 2018

So happy that I completed my first half marathon in 2018 at 2XU Compression Run 2018. I was kinda nervous last night as my last 21.1km was in August 2016. Seriously, I don't even know why did I sign up for 21.1km. Anyway, my strategy was to run 10km as fast as I could and the remaining 11.1km at a relaxing pace. I guess this strategy kinda worked as I completed my half marathon in 2hours 21minutes 42seconds. Just a couple of seconds away from my PB. This is considered a good result given that I had just given birth 21 weeks ago. =p Special thanks to Jianhui for pacing me for the last 3km. I wanted to run even faster but my heart couldn't take it. I was on the verge of vomiting when I reached the finishing line.

I guess my muscles are going to ache tomorrow, but it's all worth it. No pain no gain. Looking forward to my next happy 10km run at NTUC Income run!
