Happy 3.5 years old baby!

3 years ago, girl girl went for her first overseas trip to Bintan at 6 months old. It’s a pity that we can’t travel now due to covid-19. If not, she probably would have travelled to many other countries before she turns 4 this year. 

April has been a busy month and so fast, we are into May 2021. Happy 42 months old to Lexuan! Every month, she is growing up so fast that I feel that my girl is no longer a baby. She is really talkative and now she is able to share with me what happens in school. She will tell me things like teacher is angry at her; her good friend Zizheng eating doughnut and who makes her cry; who are her good friends, etc. I enjoy listening to her sharing all these as it makes me feel like I am attending school with her. 

Another big achievement will be, she finally sleeps without her pacifier since 6 May 2021! We told her to get her “small one 冰箱”, she needs to surrender her pacifier to postman. We left the pororo fridge outside our house and she went to collect it! She’s really happy to see her fridge, something which she has been asking for it. I really hope she will quit pacifier for good! 

We also bought her a pink scooter from decathlon and she loves it! She has been scooting around at home. She even asks us to bring her to scoot to see fire station. So, we brought her to scoot to fire station all the way to Bukit Batok Driving Centre. I’m impressed she’s not tired at all. She even asks us to take photos of her while she poses. Haha. 

She loves to play peppa pig and watches peppa pig cartoon. Recently, I realize she has been watching the popular Ryan’s YouTube videos too! No wonder this Ryan boy is earning so much money! Haha. Another of her favourite activity is colouring! Every day, she will ask to do colouring! In fact, I kinda enjoy colouring with her too as it helps me to relieve stress too! Haha. 

Everyday she goes to school, she has different patterns. On some days, she wants to eat honey stars with milk and shit; on some days, she doesn’t want to eat anything and just keep crying she doesn’t want to go to school; there are days she just want to do colouring and play with her peppa pig. I would say it’s a challenge to bring her to school everyday especially I have to carry her to school. Just today, she kept on saying she misses ah gong ah Ma. Haha. Really pattern 多过badminton. 

Oh ya, I was really happy she and papa are my supporters for Duathlon! She will cheer for me and I’m so happy! I hope she will continue to enjoy such races as much as we do. When papa borrowed her sun glasses, I complained to her that I don’t have sun glasses, she told both of us to share 5 minutes each. Haha. And when jianhui doesn’t pass the sunglasses to me, she told her daddy enough... it’s for mummy now. Haha. She’s such a big girl now, isn’t it? 

Recently, we brought her to newly opened Big splash and she loves it! She loves the obstacles course and she will tell me it’s so easy. Sometimes, she really surprises me with what she can do. At times, I might think that the obstacles is too difficult for her but she will surprise me by doing it herself. So it’s true that as parents, we should let our kids explore so that she can fulfil their maximum potential. She also loves the small pool at Big splash. She even pretends she is doing an aquathlon as she runs up to shore from the pool and back to the pool. Haha. 

Oh ya, she made a Mother’s Day card for me in school and it’s so cute! It has a picture of her blowing kisses decorated with lots of hearts. I love all this hand made gifts. Just hope that as she grows older, she will continue to make such gifts for me!
