What is Love & Marriage?

A student asks a teacher, 'What is love?'
The teacher said, 'in order to answer your question, go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.'
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big padi, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.
Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realize that the padi is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted !!!!
So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, 'this is love. you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person.

''What is marriage then?' the student asked.
The teacher said, 'in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.
'The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, 'this time you bring back a corn. you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get, this is marriage.'

This is my No. 1002nd post since I started this blog a few years ago.

And all I wanna say is, I've been really busy lately. Juggling between work and project is definitely no joke. It comes to a point that I have to go office much earlier to settle my project stuff. And yes, I am going to office at 8am tomorrow though my official working hours is from 10am to 7pm.

I'm just so tired. :(

To make things worse, I was sick for the past few days. Sigh.

It's my sis' birthday and we had a birthday celebration for her at my brother's place. I rushed there the moment I finished my meeting. If not for my sis, I would definitely not spend $30 on cab fare! Anyway, they had ordered 933 Golden Pillow for dinner and I was so hungry that I ate my dinner hungrily within 5 minutes. Haha.

Happy Birthday to all the September Babies

I think it's amazing that I'm still awake at this time. Oh well, I came home this morning at 6am and I only had 2 hours of sleep before I went for my driving lessons and tuition today.

There's only a word to describe how am I feeling right now.

SHAG.

I guess I probably will sleep at 9pm later.
(And now, it's already 9.14pm...)

Anyway, we had a "post" and "pre" birthday celebration for Yuanzheng and Tianbao @ Orchard Hotel last night. After dinner with my sister they all, my dear brother in law drove me to Orchard Hotel. I really appreciate him for driving me there, if not I probably will take forever to find the hotel. When I had reached the hotel, there were only Limin, Yuxiu, Kit and me. As usual, the guys are late. But then again, I expected them to be late as they would definitely stay at home to watch the important match of Liverpool Vs Man U. Talking about this match, I cannot believe that the moment I started watching the match at the hotel lobby, Liverpool actually scored their second goal! Argh! I guess I got to admit that I'm just a jinx. And of all times, the stupid Tianbao actually wears his Liverpool jersey after wining the match. Whatever.

Since there were only 4 of us, we started to play our favourite card game - Bridge. I seriously think that Bridge is very addictive. I really enjoy playing Bridge especially with them as all seem to be good actors/actresses or some simply don't know what's happening. Haha. It's a good game to pass time. =p

It was quite a "friendly" drinking sessions as we only managed to finish 1 bottle of red wine and a bottle of 3/4 filled Black Label which we couldn't finish it the other time. Due to the strong taste of Black Label, most of us don't really like to drink it. And this probably explains why we took so long to finish one bottle of Black Label. Junwei, Zhanhong, Jordon and Weipeng with his gf, Aili came to join us much later in the hotel too.

We partied all the way until 5+ before we decided we should call it a day. Some stayed back while I went home with the rest as I got to go home to get ready for my driving lessons with the appropriate attire and shoes in the morning.

Though I am really tired, it's worth it as it's really great hanging out with my good friends. =p

Back @ work

I'm finally back at work today!

After doing projects for the past few days, I nearly forgot I am actually employed by my company to be a CSM and not just a project member. Haha. Whatever it is, I'm happy to be back at work as I kinda miss my colleagues. It's a pity that my boss would be on long leave and I won't be seeing him until next Friday. It's good to have my boss around as he is very entertaining and with him around, every problem seems to be a minor issue.

And today is FRIDAY!

Project Meeting

For the past 2 days, I had been waking up much earlier than usual as I had to go to head office for project meeting. As we were discussing about the project, I'm getting more and more excited about the project. I guess I'm glad that I'm in this project group as everybody seems to be very friendly and nice. And our discussions are quite productive and informative. =p However, despite that we do have the luxury of having 2 hours lunch, I tempt to feel very tired at the end of the day. And this is only the initial stage... I can't imagine how is it going to be when we're rushing to finish this project and how are we going to juggle between work and project? Oh well, we shall see how it goes... =p

And the good news is, I'll be on leave for the next 2 days! =p

Temptation

I saw a BEAUTIFUL dress @ BYSI yesterday! It costs $89! I would have bought it immediately, but the sales girl refuses to give me the 15% discount just because I didn't bring my membership card.

ARGH!

As a result, I didn't buy the dress.

I cannot stop thinking of the dress!

Random Entry

I met up with Jo, boss, and da jie for dinner last night to celebrate Jo's birthday. We had Japanese buffet at one of the Japanese restaurants at Central. The food is quite nice, but it's quite EXPENSIVE. Really must thank da jie for treating us to such good food! All in all, it's really great catching up with them... They're simply my most favourite people in OCBC. =p

Mid-autumn festival is coming. And this will mean that it's time to buy mooncakes again! Thanks to my dearest sister, Ailing, I can have my favourite Goodwood Park mooncakes and Fairmont Singapore's Rum and Raisins Chocolate mooncakes! She's the best! It's amazing that I would always spend 100+ on mooncakes... But it's super worth it as my family love the mooncakes! =p

I'm really tired.

I'm going to sleep now!
