I want a new monitor!

My monitor is still spoilt. =(

As a result, I could only use pc when I'm at my sis place. And yes, I would be staying over at my sis place tonight since tomorrow is public holiday. I'm very happy as I could spend more time with sis and Princess Gwyneth. Princess Gwyneth is simply my precious.

I would update soon when I have access to pc again...

Service Staff Bonding Night

It was our Service Staff Bonding Night last night. And I was tasked to be one of the dancers for the singing competition. I was kinda nervous as we had only 2 nights of rehearsal. Everything was kinda ok except that my tube dress was on the verge of dropping. Oh well, if my tube dress drops when I'm on stage, that's the end of my career in OCBC, especially with all the big shots directly in front of me.

It was retro night and everybody sang or even danced to those retro songs. Everybody performed to their best, and it was great watching all the performance. All in all, it was a great event. =p

A happening week

I have been MIA from the cyber world for the past few days as my PC's monitor was down, and most importantly, I was really too busy. It had been a hectic week for me as I had been busy with my project, work, dance rehearsal and going to hospital to visit my sis and dear Princess Gwyneth.

Anyway, my presentation to CEO was quite a success. He was happy with the presentation and I guess I did ok for my part too. I was really relieved after the presentation. Given that I didn't have much time to prepare for the presentation, I'm glad that I didn't screw up the presentation. =p And after presentation, the whole project team went to Merchant Court. It was a great lunch with my favourite durian puree!

After lunch, I rushed to hospital as my sis was going to delivery room. I bought her flowers as a form of encouragement and gave her a big hug. There were some other people outside the delivery suite as well. While waiting outside, I saw this excited Daddy who ran out to inform his mother and sister the birth of his son. I can see the happiness and joy in his eyes. It's really a very nice feeling to be there.

I was outside waiting until my sister told me that I should go for my dance rehearsal as she was not going to deliver yet. So, I rushed to Hougang Branch for dance rehearsal. Luckily, the dance steps weren't too difficult, so I managed to catch the dance steps after a few practices.

After that, I rushed home to get ready to go the hospital! Thanks to Lennard who drove me to the hospital and had dinner with me, if not I guess I would not have time to eat dinner. I brought my story book and jacket to wait for the arrival of princess! I was really tired, but I didn't sleep. If I didn't remember wrongly, I was watching a movie by Johnny Depp... Anyway, I wasn't really concentrating on the movie as I was really excited...

At 2.38am, I received this sms from my brother in law - She gave birth liao

At that moment, I was stunned and I wanted to reply him "really?".

But, of course, I didn't reply him. I was really very happy and excited. I was pacing outside the delivery room like those actors and actresses in those typical dramas, waiting patiently for my sis and Princess Gwyneth to come out of the delivery suite...

And I was so happy to see my sis and Princess Gwyneth!

I chatted with her for a while before I went home to rest... I'm so amazed that I could still drive home after such a long night...

I was really tired, but the moment I looked at Gwyneth, all the stress just went off. She's a beauty and she's so lovely.

I went to hospital again in the morning and we took some photos...

As you can see, for the past few days, I had been rushing to different places in a day. I was really tired that it came to a point that I would have headache in the morning and the whole day, I would feel super stoned... But, it was all worth it... =p

Lina is such a sweetie... She bought my favourite IKEA meatballs for lunch for me today... and when I told her I got to rush to OCBC centre and rush back to branch, she offered her car for me to drive!

She's such a sweetie! Unfortunately, I'm not that confident to drive alone yet. =p

As busy as a bee

For the past few days, I had been really busy with project... We're rushing to finish our project materials for our presentation to the top management next Tuesday. We spent almost the whole day in the room and we even had our lunch in the room. As what one of my project mates had said, it was as if we were rushing our project like those uni students...

And while I am busy with my project, there are some issues at work which I have to settle at the same time.

STRESSED.

I'm going back to work tomorrow... and I hope that everything will turn out to be fine...

Driving Trip

I went on a driving trip with JH yesterday! It was fun, driving around Singapore. It makes me feel independent... and the feeling is great! =p

I'm a driver on Lancer EX today!

We had a drive around Lim Chu Kang then I drove to NTU!

NTU had changed quite a lot. When I was a freshie, Hall 13-15 are the new halls, but now they look so old and I think they need a repaint soon! Haha.

Monday Blues...

I finally met up with my best uni buddy, Shixing and hall buddy, David today! We were supposed to go Soup Restaurant at Compass Point, but it had closed down! In the end, we went to the cafe at Punggol Park. Shixing and I kept on complaining about the market and we were in fact comtemplating that maybe we should go further our studies or we should just pursue a degree in Engineering. Haha. Or like what Jo had suggested, we should just go Australia to further studies or just go there for holidaying. Despite our complaints, it was a fun dinner with the guys. =p

And, it's Monday again tomorrow.

Forgetful Angeline

I am getting more and more forgetful.

Is it because I have too many things to do? Or is it because I'm just getting old with my memory getting from bad to worse?

Anyway, today was not a good day at work for me. I was super busy and I felt so stressed. I was stressed not because of my work, but because I knew that I had lots of things pending for me to do for my project. Looking at my tight schedule for this weekend, I simply cannot find time to do. Sigh. I would prefer to do my stuff at home, but the problem is, my home pc's Microsoft Office is too "advanced" for my office pc. As a result, it seems like I can only do my stuff in office. Does it mean that I have to go to office tmr? It's really sad to go back office on Sunday, isn't it? Sigh.

And I feel really bad and guilty. As I have been very stressed out lately, and I realize I tempt to snap at my fellow colleagues at times. :( What has happened to me?

I guess I may need to go for stress management class...

On a happier note, I went for facial today. I enjoy going for facial and as usual, I was so tired that I fell asleep for the whole facial session. Haha.

After that, I went to meet Celene and Alvin for dinner! It was really great meeting up with this lovely couple. They entertained me with their Japan trip's stories. And I was so tempted by them to go Japan! But, I guess I can only go Japan next year. =( All in all, it was really a great dinner with wonderful company. And Celene was really nice to buy me Agnes B pouch and some nice snacks from Japan!

It has been a tiring day for me... I guess I am going to bathe and go Zzzz soon!

Managing stress

I've been feeling super stressed lately. I'm so stressed that I can't really breathe at times. And when I cannot do things as according to my plan, I feel frustrated and disappointed.

I guess I got to learn how to manage stress more effectively.

Weekend is coming, but I can only feel stress. It's because I got to finish keying in the survey results and do an analysis by Tuesday. My god.

I am also supposed to go on leave next week from Monday onwards till Wednesday, but in the end, I got to cancel my Tuesday off so that I can go back to do project. =(

I'm so upset.

I wanna have a break.

I wanna go on holiday.

And I really wanna rest & relax...

Tight Schedule

Looking at my diary, my schedule is all packed until end of this month! This is total madness. Given that my sis may just deliver anytime from late October onwards to early November, it will mean that I'll be in fact be very busy till early November.

This is totally a very busy month for all. In this month, we have 3 company events, DR testing and I'm also rushing my project for the upcoming steering committee update. And we probably will have CSM meeting and Cluster Meeting on one of these days too. My god.

I simply have no time for anything.

I need a break.

Greedy me

I went to Chongqing Steamboat with my sister and brother in law last night. Everything was great until I ate too much until I had a bad stomachache or gastric pain. I was totally in pain. It was as if I'm pregnant, especially I was wearing my "super pregnant" dress. I bet all the passersby thought that I'm pregnant. Oh man. This has taught me not to be too greedy... But, the food was just so nice that I wanted to eat everything. Haha.

Anyway, my sister is due for delivery soon. And I'm so excited! I can't wait to see princess and pamper her with lotsa clothes and toys! She's my dear princess! And if my sister and brother in law allow, I wanna bring her out too! =p It's so exciting! And I guess I got to stand by my camera at all times, in case princess has decided to come out to see us earlier!

3rd October 08

It was my birthday yesterday!From the moment the clock struck 12am, I started to receive some birthday wishes from my friends and it feels great to know that they actually remember my birthday.

As I didn't manage to get leave on my birthday, I got to go to work as per normal. To me, it's kinda sad to work on my birthday as I'm afraid that I may just get scolded by customers for nothing on my birthday. So, I told myself that since it's my birthday, I must be happy no matter what happens. =p

Anyway, early in the morning, I left home with a happy mood. And when I saw JH at my house downstairs, I was super surprised! This running buddy of mine thought that I would be so sad to go to work on my birthday, so he actually came to surprise me with a sunflower and chocolates! =p That really brightens up my day!

And my colleagues were really nice to sing me a LOUD Happy Birthday song early during the morning briefing. Haha. And most importantly, my boss presented me with the best birthday present to me! I had gotten a pay increment in October! Wow! I was really happy and surprised to receive the letter! As a result, I was really in good mood for the whole day! =p

Though I was quite busy at work, everything went on smoothly. And soon, it's 5pm and it's party time. As Hanizah needed to iron her clothes, some of them came to my house so that we could take cab to go together. After changing into our clothes, we took a cab to Suntec. And when we were there, we felt bad that we did not dress to the theme. Most of them were dressed up as students! They're just so ON! I should have at least worn my tj uniform or what!

There were really a lot of people and I must say it was really difficult to find people to take photos or what... Here are some of the photos from D&D...

Busy Day

It was really a busy day for me today. I was in branch until I had to rush to Tampines to settle some stuff before I went over to head office for project meeting at 5pm. In fact, it was a tiring week as we had to open branch an hour earlier and this would mean that we would be working longer hours... The project meeting also ended late as there was quite a lot of stuff to be discussed. In the end, it was already 7+ when we ended. Life is really difficult to be torn between work and project. But, since this is a good learning experience, I shall conquer all difficulties and succeed!

Anyway, I have been eating good stuff lately. And I am gaining weight like nobody's business! ARGH!

Family Gathering 1st October 08

I had just came back from my brother's place and I'm so tired! My family went to my brother's place to swim in the afternoon and after swimming, we started our family BBQ at the rooftop of the carpark. It's quite a nice place to BBQ as it's sheltered and equipped with water basins and we could even have 2 BBQ pits! Cool.

As usual, my brother in law helped to start the fire. He's really good at it and he could set up a fire easily and he would always help us to BBQ the food. So sweet of him. =p

After BBQ, we went down to the KTV room to relax. However, ah nei was feeling quite tired, so we decided to cut my birthday cake earlier so that we could go home earlier to rest.

And when opened the box to see the cake which my sister had bought for me, I was super surprised and happy!

My sis is simply so sweet right? I love my birthday cake! It's my favourite Secret Recipe Marble Cheesecake! Yummy! My brother was so hungry that he ate a BIG BIG piece of my birthday cake. Haha.

The Start of my Birthday Celebration

It was a busy week for me. I had to go to branch early in the morning yesterday and after settling some stuff, I had to rush down to OCBC Centre for project. The car fare cost me $32+! My god. It's freaking expensive to take cab early in the morning!

Anyway, I met brother Jason, Lennard and their some other friends for lunch. It was a great lunch to listen to them, talking about the market. Perhaps I have been a CSM for too long, I do feel kinda dumb as I'm definitely do not know the market as well as them. All in all, it was a great lunch at Funan.

After work, I met up with Ailing for coffee at TCC. This sister of mine is totally a workaholic. I told her to finish her work ASAP to join me for coffee, but she insisted that she wanted to stay back for work. Faint. We had some wedges and coffee before I went up to check my emails to ensure that there's no urgent case for me to attend to. =p

Then, it's PARTY TIME!

I went to Vivocity to meet up with my secondary school friends! We had dinner at Thai Accent. It was totally a great dinner! Yuxiu bought me a cake which is super nice! =p As it was raining quite heavily, we decided to go New Asia Bar instead of St James. However, it seems like it was a wrong choice as it NAB is not really the kind of place for us. So, we left the place to go to Oriental Mandarin Hotel. It was definitely a great place for chilling out. We stayed about 1+ before all of us headed home.

I'm really happy to have great friends like them. Especially my dear best friends, Limin and Yuxiu. They're simply fantastic. I'm a happy girl with a new coach wristlet and Victoria Secret's Body Splash which happens to be my favourite spray!

I feel so blessed. =p

Oh yes, I had received my first birthday present from Ailing and family last Sunday! They had given me Calvin Klein Perfume. So sweet of them!
