No news = Good news

It seems like bad news is popping up everyday in the newspapers. In times like this, I would think that No News = Good News. And maybe my friend is right, doing nothing is the best option now.

Anyway, we met up to celebrate Limin's birthday yesterday. A group of us had dinner at the famous Seafood Paradise at Defu Lane 10. The drunken prawns and the creamy crabs were super nice! Simply my favourite food! I will definitely bring my family there to eat some day!

After dinner, Brendan drove us back to Amara Hotel. The King size bed is big and cosy. If any of you are looking for weekend delight with your loved one, you can consider Amara Hotel as the Weekend Delight is quite a good bargain. =p

We played some games and had a bit of red wine before all of us left the hotel room for the couple. =p

I was really tired from the partying, but I woke up at 8+ this morning. Our dear princess kept on crying, and I know that I just have to wake up to play with her... It's really tiring to be a mummy!

Getting used to the new working hours...

It's only my 2nd day working from 9am to 7pm... and I'm feeling so tired! My branch opens at 11am and closes at 7pm, but I just have this tendency to wake up early to go to work. Sigh. Seriously speaking, when the clock strikes 6pm, I'm so tempted to close branch.

But then again, I guess I should not complain so much... as I'm should be happy that I have a job. And in fact, it's a job which I really like... So, I shall try to adapt to this working hours...

My project team had a meeting with the CEO and the senior management today.

And know what?

I was late for the meeting. By the time I reached the room, my project team member had started the presentation. I was the last person to enter the room.

What else can I say?

Sigh.

Birthday Celebration for Yuxiu and Kit

We had a birthday celebration for Yuxiu and Kit last weekend. It was a great party with lotsa of alcohol (4 bottles of martell) and laughter.

As it was also our first secondary school gathering after Terry and Wenxin's wedding, we also made the "groom" drink since he wasn't that drunk on his wedding day.

Busy Life

Life is pretty much the same for the past 2 weeks. I am as busy as usual, juggling between work and project. Sometimes, I am really stressed as I hate it when I feel that I am unable to give my best to my project due to my work or vice versa. Hanizah had gone on a long leave, as a result, I had to go to branch to open branch early in the morning before rushing for my project discussion in OCBC Centre every Tuesday and Thursday. It's really tiring as this will mean that I have to wake up as early as 7am or even earlier.

And starting from next Monday, my branch operating hours will be from 11am to 7pm. ARGH! And by the time I finish work, it would be 8pm. This will mean that I can only eat my dinner at 8+ and I can forget about meeting friends for dinner... And how about my evening jog? Sigh. Why must they change my branch operating hours to 11am to 7pm? I rather they change the branch operating hours to 9am to 4.30pm. Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to accept my fate... Sigh...

Some updates

My home pc is still down.

As a result, it seems like I've disappeared from the cyber world. For those who know me long enough, you should know that I'm always online, but now, I can only go online at most once a week when I am at my sis place. The good thing is, I have been quite busy, so I do not have much time to be online as well. If not, I guess I will be bored to death without my beloved pc. Haha.

I had fallen terribly sick since Wednesday. I would sneeze non stop and given that I'm too lazy to see any doc, I relied on "self-medication" by drinking lotsa of water with chinese cough mixture. Surprisingly, it seems to work as I am feeling much better now. It feels horrible to be sick and I'm just so glad that I'm feeling better now. : )

2D1N chalet @ Sis place

I'm on leave these few days and I'm staying at my sis place! =p

I'm so excited as I can spend quality time with my sis and Princess Gwyneth!

Anyway, I'm so happy to be on leave as I can finally have a break from work and project. I bet it's going to be a busy period for me till end of Chinese New Year next year. So I must grab every opportunity to rest now. Everybody seems to be going on holiday during this period, I feel kinda sad for myself that I have to stay in Singapore... And I probably cannot go on holiday until next year... Sigh... But, looking on the brighter side, I guess even if I go on holiday during this period, I will miss my sis and Princess Gwyneth a lot... Oh well, so I may as well stay in Singapore... =p

Life is good! I'm loving it!

Congratulations to Terry and Wenxin

Mr. and Mrs. Peh held their wedding dinner at Grand Shanghai last night. I must say it was a fantastic place with nice ambience and the whole wedding was just so cool! There was a roaming magician who would keep the guests entertained with his magic tricks and throughout the night, there was a singer on stage who sang all those classic old songs. I really feel as if I was back to those Shanghai days... Haha.

Terry was really sweet as he had composed a song for his wife! That's so romantic. I guess it's a great feeling to attend wedding dinner, especially when you could strongly sense the love between the groom and the bride. They had came so far, and I'm just so happy that they had moved on to the next phase of their love life...

It was also a great gathering as many of the AMKSS people were there. We had fun mixing the drinks for the groom and his brothers... It was just so fun to hang out with them.

Aili had caught the flower bouquet... So does it mean that Weipeng will be the next in line?

We shall wait and see! Haha.

Halloween's Night 08

After much anticipation, a group of us had bought our Halloween's costumes online from US and we were so excited to attend this year's Halloween's Party at Zouk!

As it was a Friday, we could only go after work. As a result, we only managed to reach Zouk at 10+ instead of 9+. There was a super super long queue...

Driving on the roads

Thanks to a wonderful friend of mine, I have been driving my favourite red Honda Jazz for the past few days. I simply enjoy driving though I must admit that I do feel very stressed parking my car. Sometimes, when there were a lot of cars on the road, I also felt kinda stressed. But I guess as I drive more often, everything should be fine. When more practice and I will be more confident to drive on roads alone. It was a great experience for me and my dad was really nice to guide me patiently how to drive properly on the roads. =p I even drove all the way from SK to CCK and from CCK to airport. And I even drove all the way to Tampines alone with directions given by my dad! Haha. All in all, it was a great experience. Thanks babe!
