First Birthday Celebration of the year

I stayed until 10pm last night in branch as the IT people were doing some system upgrade. As a result, I couldn't meet Yinqiu and others to discuss about the wedding preparations. I feel so bad about it, but I can't help it as I didn't know the system upgrade would take that long. Sigh.

Then I took a cab to K Garden straight to meet up with my secondary school friends. It's a gathering to celebrate Bao and my birthday. Special thanks to Yuxiu for organizing the party all the time. =p I'm really happy to have friends like them, especially Yuxiu. Friends like them are hard to come by, and I treasure our friendship a lot. Thanks to everybody who was there - Yuxiu & Ivan, Brendan, Zhanhong, Terry, Kit & Cassandra, Bao & Stephanie and Yuanzheng!

We stayed till 2am. Stephanie was really nice to send me home though it was not on the way. =p I slept at around 3+...

I was feeling so shag and tired this morning when I woke up. In fact, I was still suffering from the post-drinking effect. I dragged myself to go to work and for the whole day, I was totally trying hard not to fall asleep. I guess I simply cannot afford to go party if I would be working the next day. I'm getting old.

I rushed home immediately when I was done with my daily work. And my mum prepared my favourite mee hoon kuay for me! =p It was a good dinner though I am feeling super full now.

And now, it's time for F1! Haha.

Probably going to sleep as early as possible tonight... I'm simply too tired!

No longer a P Plate Driver

From tomorrow onwards, I am no longer a P Plate driver! Yeah!

Anyway, I met up with my buddy, David today. My course ended quite early and so we could meet quite early for dinner at Central. We had a quick dinner at Waruku before we walked to Fort Canning for F1 Rocks Concert. It was quite a long way to Fort Canning, but it was a good stroll. I was perspiring non-stop though.

As I got to work tomorrow, we stayed for a while before we decided to go home. Once again, it was a long journey to the MRT station.

All in all, it was a good Friday night with my buddy. =p

Friends

Not one, but two friends have made me feel that I am not worthy to be their friends lately. It's kinda upsetting as both of them are important people/friends to me. Sigh. Am I really not worthy to be their friends?

Sometimes, we always give the excuse that we're too busy to meet our friends. But, you probably may want to take a step back and ask yourself this question - Is it really so difficult to find time to meet your friends for dinner or what? Let's say if you were to know that a particular friend of yours has only one day left to live, will you be able to find time to meet him/her for dinner? Similarly, if you've known that you have only one day left to live, would you want to meet all your good friends? Sometimes, we simply take our friends for granted. You expect your friends to be always there for you, but in reality, sometimes, unpredictable things may happen.

Life is unpredictable. We should live each day as if it's our last day on earth.

It's Grandma's Day

It's only 7pm, but I had already eaten my dinner after a short jog. I'm on course today, and that explains why am I home so early today. It feels good to be home so EARLY! =p And because I am home early, my parents are very happy as they could go out much earlier. I will be a good girl to keep my grandma company today. Hehe.

* Goodwood Park's durian mooncake is very nice! Yummy! I wanna buy Fairmont's mini snow-skin Rum & Raisin Chocolate Truffle mooncakes too!

Off Day = A day to run errands

I had a good sleep last night and I woke up at 9+. I went for a short jog. Somehow, I started sneezing after my jog. I simply have no idea why is it that I always catch a cold on my off day?! It's a day for me to run errands! Just hope that the meeting tonight will not end too late...

My parents are getting very health conscious. They had changed to a low fat milk powder. As a result, my usual milk tea tastes weird. They also started buying PLAIN BREAD instead of those usual happy bread with ham, cheese, or cream. Probably I may lose some weight if I follow their diet too. =p

I am going to OCBC Centre now!

It's always so busy after a long weekend...

As what I had expected, branch was extremely busy today. And on top of that, we had some problems during end day balancing. Luckily, we had managed to resolve it eventually, if not, I would feel even more sian. I must say it's definitely quite a challenging day for me, especially when I was trying hard to get over the holiday mood. In the end, I stayed in office till 10.30pm as I wanted to check some stuff. I must thank Yuxiu for buying me a cup of coffee and cake from coffeebean , if not I would definitely die of starvation. The cake was really yummy! Oh well, I was supposed to go for a short jog after work, but I got home so late that I guess I should just bathe and sleep. Haha.

It's going to be a busy week for me till Tuesday as I would be on course and I will be working this weekend too. = ( I definitely need to conserve more energy this week!

Anyway, I have been feeling rather down lately. Sigh. Hope that I will be on a happier mood tomorrow. Cheer up, Angie!

I love public holiday

I was off on Saturday, so I was enjoying life from Saturday till today! If only, there is a public holiday every week... Haha.

Anyway, I met up with my dearest friend, Celene on Saturday for high tea. She bought me a nice shorts and umbrella from BKK. That's so sweet of her! We had nice snacks at this nice restaurant. After which, we went to ION. It was my first time going to ION, so I was kinda excited and happy walking around! Alvin came to join us after his tennis too. We had this really nice Ramen at ION. It's very yummy! Keke. I would definitely like to go there for Ramen again, but I guess one bowl is definitely more than enough for 2 people to share.

It was Wenwen's wedding on Sunday. Lydia was really nice to come to fetch me to go to the wedding dinner together. It was really good to meet Lydia, Chew Ping, Lemin, Biyin, Keong Meng, Guojun, Hanyang and of course the beautiful bride! I had a good time, catching up with them and laughing at old jokes. The dinner ended around 11pm and Lydia drove us back to AMK. From there, I took a cab home. I was totally so tired when I reached home. However, I couldn't sleep at all due to the red wine effect. =(

I woke up at 6+ this morning to go JB! Though I was sleepy, I was excited to go JB for Go Kart. I met up with JH at Kranji before we made our way to JB to meet rest of the guys. As usual, when I had reached JB, the guys just woke up! ARGH! Luckily, I didn't have to wait too long, if not I would be damn pissed. Haha. We went for a happy breakfast at some popular kopitiam before we drove to the ulu place for Go Kart.

Go Kart was fun, but I dare not accelerate all the way, for fear that I would crash. The guys laughed at me, and insisted that I was driving as if I was driving on KPE. ">_< href="http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y86/chaiyo88/?action=view&current=September022.jpg" target="_blank">

After lunch, we drove back to Singapore to avoid the jam at Causeway. Luckily, the jam wasn't that bad. =p

It's our annual D&D again!

We had our annual D&D at Vivocity Level 3 - Amphitheatre. So, if you were at Vivocity last night, you probably would have stopped by and looked at a big group of people eating, cheering and making noises. Haha. I totally feel like a caged animal in the zoo as there were a lot of passers by, looking at us. Haha.

It was quite fun with good performances to keep us entertained. My only complaint would be that the food wasn't that good. Oh ya, as the place was an open concept, we were perspiring non-stop too.

It was kinda hard to find friends as there were simply too many people and all of us were not seated in tables. As a result, I did not take many photos this year.

My To-Do List

1. To get a diving license (I have been wanting to go diving since millions of years ago! I would really hope to go diving next year!)
2. To join a dance class
3. To arrange an appointment with my dentist to put on braces?!! (Currently, my mum is strongly against the idea of me putting braces, so I got to shelf this idea for the time being...)
4. To travel to a developing country to do volunteer work (I have no idea how do I "volunteer" myself for such trip. Any idea?)
5. To travel to the following countries:
- Dubai (to visit Limin)
- Japan
- Mount KK (for trekking!)
- China (a family trip)
- Taiwan (I simply miss this place! So I
would love to go there again!)

And the list goes on and on...

As for now, I need to save lots and lots of money!

I love Sengkang!

I went to Sengkang's swimming pool with my mum and sister yesterday. The pool is very cool with slides, jacuzzi, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool! Most importantly, the shower rooms are very clean and new! I would love to go there for a swim again! I hate to bathe in public pool as I always think that the shower rooms are very dirty, but now, this will no longer be an issue! It's a fantastic swimming pool! Also, after your swim, you can go for a flying kite session at the open field nearby. It's so cool, isn't it?

Sengkang is simply a wonderful place!

Happy Birthday to my Dearest Sis!

It's my sis birthday today! Just wanna wish her a BIG Happy Birthday! My family had a simple dinner at my dad's favourite coffeeshop to celebrate her birthday. It was a great family dinner with my wonderful family. =p I always think that I am very fortunate to be a member of this family and I simply love them. As for today, we will be going shopping and swimming! My brother in law would be having a great buffet dinner with her in the evening while I have to attend the CSM meeting. *Pout*

A Happy Week

This is definitely a happy week for me as there are only 2 working days! In fact, if not for the D&D on Friday, I would basically have a long long weekend from today onwards! Keke.

I was doing my work in branch until 10pm last night. Just when I was considering to stay a little bit longer, there was an unknown sound coming from a corner! I was kinda freaked out, so I decided that I should just pack and go. I guess it could be the lizard or what... It's better for me to go to branch early in the morning, rather than staying up late alone in the branch.

Anyway, I had gone to the Singtel shop again. It's time for me to upgrade my contract, but the thing is, I couldn't decide on the plan! Argh! I'm thinking of buying the new iphone as a birthday present for myself. Hehe. Some of them say that I should not buy an iphone as I will end up "mistreating" it or I may not even know how to use it. Hmm... Oh well, I guess it shouldn't be that difficult to use iphone, isn't it? Besides, I can always consult Yuxiu or my colleagues since they are all using iphone! As for now, I guess I will look at the different plans and choose one which is more suitable for my needs.

Year end is approaching and it seems like everybody is planning for their holidays. As for me, I would wanna go for a short holiday, but I can't as I have to prepare for the coming audit. I guess I won't be able to enjoy until the audit is over. So, it's important for me to concentrate on my work. Once the audit is over, it's time for me to enjoy. =p

A beautiful Sunday

I had just came back from my Mizuno 16km Wave Run. We had completed the race in 2hrs time. I guess the guys would be able to complete the race under 2 hours if they had run without me. Ops. I am the laggard again. It's quite irritating to run with the phlegm stuck in my throat. I wish I could just spit out the phlegm easily and that will helps me to breathe better.

Anyway, I am happy to complete the race!

I'm sick

I woke up this morning, feeling very sick. I'm so glad that I am on off today, if not I would feel bad, calling up office to inform them that I won't be able to go to work. Immediately, I went to the clinic downstairs to see doctor.

It was quite a long wait given that there weren't many patients in the clinic. Once again, I was given the shock of my life when I saw the bill. Nowadays, it's really expensive to see doctor. I guess I must constantly keep myself healthy to prevent spending such money on medicine. And because I'm sick, I could not go jogging as per my training schedule today. Sigh.

I was given 2 days MC by the doctor, but I guess I would be going back to work tomorrow.

Hope that I would get well soon! I hate to be sick! Argh!

Catching up with my dear friends

I met up with my secondary school school friends after work yesterday. Though I was really tired after work, I was very happy and excited to meet up with them. =p We had dinner at Seafood Paradise and the creamy crab is really very YUMMY! I like the drunken prawns too! It was totally a great dinner.

After dinner, we went to Villa Bali. As compared to our previous outing, it was a friendly session as we did not drink much. We merely ordered 3 bottles of red wine, 1 bottle of sparkling wine and 1 bottle of champagne. But I guess the red wine isn't doing any good for my sore throat. *Cough Cough*

All in all, it was a wonderful night, hanging out with my good friends. : ) Special thanks to Yuxiu for organizing the outing. Hope to meet up with them soon!

Why am I sick again?!

Once again, I am feeling sick. :(

Though I am not feeling too well, I had managed to complete the Singapore Run with my sis today. It's her first race so I am glad to be able to run the race with her. She had done a great job and I'm proud of her! Alan and Princess were waiting for us at the finishing line. =p It's so cool to have "supporters". After cooling down, we went to Funan IT mall's foodcourt for dinner.

I feel quite okay when running but the moment I had completed the race, I couldn't stop sneezing. Sigh. I guess I am really sick this time round.

I'm going to bathe and sleep at 10pm tonight!

I think I am falling sick. My throat feels dry and it is in slight pain. No matter how much water I drink, my throat feels super dry. Why is it that I always feel sick on my off day? There must be something wrong with me. Haha.

I guess I need a break

The thing about my job is, there is no room for a small mistake or an oversight on my part. I had been very busy at work. As a result, I had overlooked a mistake yesterday. Though it seems like everything was settled today, I couldn't help but to feel worried. Just pray that everything will be okay.

It's finally my off day tomorrow, but it is going to be a packed day for me. I'll be meeting my cute sister, Yinqiu for lunch before going for x ray. After that, I would be going to the hospital to visit my uncle again. And after visiting him at the hospital, I would be going to my grandma's house. Sometimes, it seems like a day off is simply not enough for me.

Life is boring. I feel like taking up dance classes. But, I'm not too sure if I'm able to attend all the classes given that my working schedule is kinda irregular. Also, I feel like going for a holiday. Maybe I should plan a short holiday or what... Should I go to Taiwan again or should I go Hokkaido or Korea? Hmm...
