I'm so happy!

I'm very happy today! I've achieved my personal best timing for 12km. I've managed to run 10km in 56 minutes and 12km in 1hr and 8 minutes! YEAH~ Thanks to Brendan, Kit and Weijie for such good pacing. : )

Also, I met up with my jc girls today! Amara is pregnant! I'm so happy for her. It's going to be so exciting for her! Adeline also shared with us about the renovation at her house and some updates of her wedding. It's good to catch up with the girls.

I had also watched the movie, This is it. It's really good. After watching the movie, I must say MJ is truly the King of Pop. He's that good. It's a waste that all of them had put in so much effort for the concert, yet MJ and crew are unable to put up the performance for the fans eventually. Sigh.

Anyway, it was a tiring but happy day for me. I guess I got to sleep early to prepare for the race tomorrow.

Weird dreams

It's strange.

The moment I have the thought of going to pursue my Master, I would start having dreams of me going for exams. And the dream would be a nightmare cos I would always be late for my exams in my dreams. In my recent dreams, it was ridiculous that I was already late for exams, yet I insisted to apply make up before I go for my exams. What the hell.

Is this a hint that I am too old to go back to school?

It's my boss' BIG DAY today! Congratulations! May you and your wife have a great HONEYMOON and I am looking forward to play with your kid! Haha. I can even be the babysitter whenever you come back to Singapore!

Updates

My branch went to Peach Garden for branch dinner. As usual, we had lots and lots of food. My favourite dishes from Peach Garden would be the Steamed Fish with Mui Choy, Salted Egg Prawns, Wasabi Prawns, Spinach and Fried Beancurd.

Anyway, this was my third time going to Peach Garden in the month of October. Hence, for the time being, I doubt I will go there for dinner again. Haha.

All in all, it was a good branch outing with fun and laughter. =p

Princess Gwyneth's 1st Birthday Party

We held Princess Gwyneth's 1st Birthday Party at the chalet, Changi Safra - NSRSS. The chalet is big and nice! The moment we reached the chalet, we started to decorate the place with banners and balloons. The first guest of the party was Lewis. He's indeed very on. haha.

Subsequently, many of Alan & sis' friends started to arrive. The place was crowded with guests. My tuition teacher, Sharon came too and it was great catching up with her.

A new hobby

I went Marina Barrage to fly kite yesterday! It was fun! The place is very nice and I love the feeling of the whole place. We bought food and desserts for picnic. Thanks to the desserts which Alvin and Celene had bought, if not we would not have bowls for our beehoon. Haha. The dessert is very nice! It was my first attempt at flying kite without my dad, and so I wasn't sure of how to fly a kite. I guess if you have a good kite, it shouldn't be difficult to fly the kite. All in all, it was quite fun to fly kite. However, it wasn't windy yesterday. As a result, our poor kite is unable to fly high. = (

After that, we went to Geylang for durian feast! YUMMY! The durians are really cheap and good. 3 for $10! After our satisfying durian feast, I went home with my sis they all.

It was definitely a great day for me!

And when everybody could sleep late this morning, I had to wake up early to go to work. Pout. To make things worse, I had forgotten to bring my specs to my sis' place and so I had to wear my sis' specs. As a result, my right eye was red and swollen (probably due to straining of my eyes as my sis' degree is lower than me) and I was feeling giddy for the whole day. Moreover, I was also down with flu. In short, I was feeling super miserable today. I was so glad when I could knock off.

To be frank, I was tempted to take cab home, but I guess I should not waste money on cab given that I had took cab 2 times yesterday. And so, I've managed to struggle back home despite that I was feeling super giddy with a swollen right eye on the bus. As for now, I just wanna have a good rest and hope that my eye will be better tomorrow.

P/S: My sis is super sweet. She had made a personalized magnet which is in the shape of a birthday cake for me! And she also gave me a beautiful organizer! She's so sweet, isn't it? Celene also gave me s nice running top! Thanks babe! I love the top. =p

iPhone!

I had just collected my iPhone! It's definitely a good buy. The salesman that served me was polite, nice and helpful! He had also helped me to choose a package which suits my needs perfectly! I'm so glad that I've bought my iPhone from him instead of the guy who works in the Singtel shop opposite my branch. I'm so delighted that I had managed to get a good package and I was able to get my iPhone at a lower price!

I am so happy! =p It's a birthday present for myself! Haha!

A getaway

I'm finally back home!

I had been relaxing at Orchid Country Club for 3D2N since Sunday. It was totally a great stay with comfortable bed, wonderful company and a nice scenery at the balcony! Oh ya, the complimentary breakfast is good too! It's a good break from the work. I had enjoyed myself a lot. =p

I've been eating a lot for the past few days since 2nd of October. As a result, I've gained 2kg! I seriously need to go jogging more often to burn the extra fats. It's time to "detox" by having light and healthy meals from tomorrow onwards. =p

18 Forever

Yinqiu's cousin, Crystal is one of the wedding babes yesterday. She's only 18 years old. Looking at her, it makes me feel super old. She has a great complexion and because she's young with no wrinkles, she does not have to put much make up to look good. This is so unfair, isn't it? She's also full of energy. On the other hand, I feel so tired after "negotiating" with the brothers and groom for an hour or so.

I can't help but to admit that I am getting old. And like what KC had said in his SMS to me on my birthday, I am indeed getting closer to be a 敗犬女王. (Oh no!) And Corey has to remind me that in 4 years time, I will be approaching Chapter Three! ARGH!!! This is so scary!

I think I am not going to celebrate my birthday from next year onwards...

I want to be 18 Forever!

Congratulations to Wilson and Yinqiu!

Wilson and Yinqiu held their wedding yesterday and I was proud to be one of the wedding babes! I went over to her place early in the morning at 6.30am. Her make up artist was helping her to make up while I was busy preparing the toxic for the groom and brothers. Seriously, I guess we were kinda too kind to them. Haha.

The guys came super early and so we had lotsa of time to play the games. They did the Grasshoppers' classic dance, collected 8 wishes from the neighbourhood, drank the toxic and did all kinds of them as requested by the wedding babes! Wilson and his brothers were very sporting! Good job to all of them! Haha.

Seeing that they were so sincere, we opened the door for them. Wilson made his love pledge before he entered the room. It's simply so sweet. =p I was really very happy for my cute sister, Yinqiu.

Immediately, we went to Wilson's place. He had a big family and I could see that his family is very bonded. We had the tea ceremony until 11.30 before we made our way back to Yinqiu's place.

After the tea ceremony at Yinqiu's place, it's Rest and Relax time. And so, I went home to take a nap before I had to get ready for the wedding dinner.

Lennard came to fetch me to the dinner and gave me my birthday present. Thanks for the birthday gift. =p

I was kinda early. When I reached the hotel, the wedding babes were still getting ready. Haha. We took some photos before we went to level 5 for the wedding solemnization ceremony.

After the wedding solemnization, we went to the Grand Ballroom to help out at the reception. It's amazing that many guests came punctually, and so we could start the dinner promptly. I was seated with the programmers and Caline & Jason. It was good catching up with them. As usual, Corey is full of crap, but he had helped to entertain the whole table. Haha. Meeting them again makes me miss our Sports Camp days. Those were jolly good times. And it was because of Sports Camp that had brought Yinqiu and me to be closer though I had known her since Secondary School days.

My day

On my birthday, I went for a short jog in the morning before I went to Orchard to meet Celene, Alvin and JH for lunch. We had lunch at Nanbantai and the food is really good. It was a good lunch. Really appreciate them to meet me for lunch on my birthday and thanks for the birthday treat! I love the food!

After lunch, I went to CCK to help my sis to babysit my niece. Alan was on duty, and so I went over to my sis' place to help her to take care of Princess Gwyneth while she was doing household chores. It's really challenging to be a working mummy as you got to handle household chores and baby. My god. I really cannot imagine myself as a housewife. Haha.

Subsequently, we took a cab to Sengkang together as my parents would be helping to babysit my niece so that my sis could attend her colleague's wedding dinner. I would love to babysit my niece, but I got a dinner appt with my secondary school friends.

Brendan is really sweet to arrange the dinner and KTV session to celebrate birthday for me - with those guys who couldn't make it the other time. And so, we had a simple dinner at Pow Sing Restaurant before we went to K Garden. I didn't drink much and I left around 10pm as I had to rush home to help to babysit my niece.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It's my birthday today! =p And it's also mid-autumn festival, which means that today is an auspicious day! Haha.

My good brother, George sent a basket of flowers with a cute bear to my office yesterday! It was totally a positive surprise for me and I was very happy. It's always good to receive flowers, isn't it? This brother of mine is always so sweet to me. As he is very busy with his work and won't be able to meet me, so he has sent this cute bear to wish me Happy Birthday in advance! Thanks brother! I really love the bear and flowers a lot!

My branch decided to go for a branch dinner at Peach Garden yesterday. And so, we went there for Chinese buffet. The food is quite nice, except that the food was not been served promptly. As a result, it kinda affects the momentum of eating buffet. Haha. Towards the later part, we were so full that we had to keep allocating food to one another. Haha. To my surprise, the dinner was meant to celebrate my birthday. They bought a cake and a lovely DKNY watch for me. As I was kinda new to the branch, I didn't expect them to celebrate my birthday or even buy me any present. So, I was totally SURPRISED. It was really very sweet of them. =p

After dinner, I went to meet JH at Novena MRT station. He had been waiting for me for many hours as I was supposed to meet him for dinner. I'm so sorry to make him wait for so long! Anyway, we went to Brewerks for a drink. He bought me a TIMEX watch and nice cake from Bakerzin. I like the watch as it would be good for my training. =p Though I was really full, I managed to eat 1/4 of the cake as it was really nice. We stayed until 12+ then we took cab home as I was simply too sleepy. :)

Happy Chidren's Day

I used to enjoy Children's Day when I was young as my parents would bring me to Big Splash for some games and competition. Other than that, I would always receive Children's Day presents from the school or teaches. Moreover, it's a public holiday too!

I met up with Lennard for dinner at Admiral Bar & Grill after work. As usual, the food was good. It's quite a nice place for dining and the price is quite reasonable. If you were to go there for dinner, you should try the mixed grill. It's simply my favourite. Hehe.

After dinner, Lennard drove me to collect the wedding invitation card from Yinqiu before he drove me home.

I was so tired that I concussed till the next morning. Haha.
