A wonderful weekend

I met up with Yuanmei and Ade on Saturday for lunch at Sun with Moon to celebrate Yuanmei's belated birthday. I was kinda disappointed that Sun with Moon was only offering lunch menu as I was looking forward to eat some of my favourite side dishes. Nevertheless, the lunch set was good too! :)

After lunch, I went to my sis place... As we would be going to Amit's concert together! We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant and the food was quite good. It's at level 3 or 4 at Kallang Leisure Park. After dinner, we walked over to Kallang Indoor Stadium. We bought nice light sticks for each of us and now, all of us were ready to ROCK! The concert started punctually at 8.30pm. It was definitely a great concert. Amit was really great! I love her voice and all of us were so HIGH!

The concert ended at 11.30pm and I had to say that it was one of the best concert I had ever attended. It was definitely worth every cent. In fact, most concert ended at 11pm or earlier, but this concert ended at 11.30pm! Super worth it!

After concert, all of us were very tired. I had no voice and I was so tired that I concussed all the way from 1am till this morning 8am...

today. JH and I met up with Celene and Alvin for lunch at Asia Grand Restaurant (Odeon Tower)We had dim sum and I love it! I think I'm simply so in love with Chinese food, Dim Sum and Japanese food! Haha. The service was superb too! I would definitely go there again! Hehe. Celene gave me a nice Carebear calendar and masks from HK! I love my calendar as I love carebears! Haha. Carebears make me happy! :)

After lunch, we went to Taka to collect Celene's ring. Her ring is very beautiful! I'm simply so happy for Alvin and Celene! : )

JH and I wanted to go ECP to cycle, but seeing that the weather was really hot and sunny, we decided to watch movie instead. Haha. And so, we watched 14 blades before I went home to relax...

I got to work tomorrow!

Looking forward to this weekend

This is a wonderful week as I only have to work for 3 days this week! Hurray! Life is good when I only have to work for 3 days every week! Hehe. And I don't have to work this weekend too! Yeah!

I will be back to work tomorrow. I'm sure tomorrow will be a busy day at work and it will be as if I am fighting a battle. It is definitely going to be a busy and tiring 3 working days, but I am sure I will be able to survive it, just like the past few years. : ) Ganbattle!

Anyway, I am so looking forward to this weekend! I will be meeting my JC girls for a lunch to celebrate Yuanmei's belated birthday and I will be going to Amei's concert this Saturday! Cool! Also, I will be meeting Celene and Alvin for lunch on Sunday. After that, I will have a relaxing Sunday with my favourite person. : ) It's definitely going to be a wonderful weekend with my loved ones!

I love weekends only when I don't have to work on weekends. =p

Happy Birthday to Weili!

I met up with my secondary school friends for KTV at K Garden yesterday after work. As usual, the guys were late. Haha. It's already 2010, and some things just don't change. In fact, they simply don't like to reply my SMS! It can be so irritating at times. Haha.

Despite that both Yuxiu and I were a but late, we were the first 2 to reach K Garden. The guys came much later, as usual. It was our first meet up in 2010 and I think it was great! :) I'm really glad to have friends like them since secondary school days. And our topic for the day is HOROSCOPE. It seems like Bao has done some research on Horoscope and we had a discussion on the topic. Haha.

As I got to work the next day, I left around 12+ and Jordon was really very nice to drive me home.

When I reached home, I was having a bad headache. It was so bad that I couldn't sleep until 2+. Argh!

As a result, I was feeling kinda sleepy at work today. Luckily, it was not so busy at branch today. : )

And I will be on off for the next 2 days! Heehee! I shall rest well before starting to fight the war on Wednesday when I'm back at work!

I'm back

I know I have been MIA from the blogspot for quite sometime. There isn't anything exciting to update lately and that explains my absence. However, as I was reading through my past entries since 2005, it suddenly came to me that I had to blog about important events in my life, if not, I would forget about everything 10 years down the road. Maybe I am getting old or what, my memory is failing. Sometimes, I can't even remember what did I do last weekend.

Last Sunday, I attended Douglas' wedding lunch at Intercontinental Hotel. It was my first time attending a wedding there, and I kinda like the place. It's classy and the ballroom is really big. And it was a good catching up session with my MT mate, Damien. I have not seen him for years! Haha. I also met some of the ex ocbc colleague like Ji Hsien, Lynn and Joanne. In fact, it's like a mini ocbc gathering. By the time the wedding lunch ended, I think Douglas was quite drunk. Some things just dont change. He still can't drink for nuts. Haha.

And yes, Celene had smsed me a good news all the way from HK. I'm so happy for Alvin and her! =p I can't wait to meet up with them to get the juicy news. Haha.

Another good news will be that, Andrea and Limin will be coming back next month! So cool! February is definitely going to be busy and exciting month! Heehee.

Sorry, what did you say?! I can't hear you

Oh yes, I went for my hearing test today... True enough, I do have a minor hearing problem. Doctor says that my hearing isn't that good and I probably can't hear whenever people whisper to me. Though I do know that I am kinda deaf at times, I feel kinda upset to hear this coming from the doctor. The doctor also proposed to me to do some blood test, speech test and even MRI scan.

And so, I went for the blood test. The nurse had to insert the syringe 4 times into my veins before she could withdraw my blood. It's bloody PAINFUL! ARGH!

After the blood test, I could finally go home... I hope I won't get another shock of my life when I went back to see the doctor in March...

What a day!

And tomorrow, I have to go back to work! ARGH!

My first off day in 2010

In 2010, I have been working since 2nd of January and today is finally my off day! Yeah! It had been really busy for me at work for the past few days. I'm so glad that I am off today!

And so, I finally can go for a short jog in the morning! Though my ankle and knee seems to be giving me problems, I've enjoyed my jog. It was a great jog with nice music to keep me company.

I'm also very proud of myself that I have finally packed my computer table! Now, it's very clean and tidy! Hurray! This is a good start to my "Cleaning Project". More to go... My room will probably need at least 2 days to do a thorough cleaning up. Though it's going to be tiring, I am excited to have a clean and tidy room.

It's a beautiful day today!

First Day of work in 2010

While most of you are enjoying the long weekend, I woke up at 7+ this morning to go to work. Yawn Yawn.

As what I had expected, there was a long queue at branch today. I was so busy that time seems to pass by so fast. Before I know it, it was already 7pm!

All in all, it was quite a good first day of work in 2010...

Happy New Year to all

I was supposed to work half day on the eve of the New Year, but the bank was so crowded that I could only leave branch at around 3+.

After that, I went to town to meet JH. We walked around before we went to TCC for some snacks and drinks. I was quite hungry as I didn't have my lunch. You can imagine how busy I was for the whole morning till 3+.

Then, we went to Molly's place for BBQ! I'm so happy that I've met many of my good friends at the BBQ! I've met KC & Angie, Gladys & family, Kristie & Eugene and the crazy woman Kristy Ong! It was great catching up with them! =p

Around 10+, we went to town to watch the fireworks! The fireworks was really beautiful! I'm so glad that I got to watch such beautiful fireworks! :) It was really crowded, but I guess it was worth it.

All in all, it was a great new year eve! =p

It's 2010!

OMG! It's 2010! It seems like I had made my 2009's resolutions yesterday, and now it's 2010! I simply can't believe it...

All in all, 2009 had been a good year for me. And I hope 2010 will be even FANTASTIC year for me! In fact, I am kinda excited about 2010 as I have made some exciting plans. :)

Angie's New Year Resolutions for 2010!

1. Earn more money and Save more money
Without fail, this will always be my first resolution for each year! Haha. I hope I will get promotion and a big fat bonus this year! And of cos, I hope I will have some career advancement in what I am doing now. :)

2. Keep fit and be healthy
Health is very important, so in 2010, I hope I can continue to go jogging at least 3 times a week and be fit! Also, I hope I can be tummy-less in 2010! And, I hope in 2010, I will be able to have proper meals and eat healthy food instead of eating junk food all the time!

3. Pack room and keep it neat
Ah yes, my room is so messy that I guess in 2010, I will try to pack my room and keep it neat! I am inspired to keep my room neat! Yeah!

4. Learn to cook and bake
In 2010, Angie will learn to cook and bake! So, are there any guinea pigs out there? Haha.

5. Sports
In 2010, I would like to complete a full marathon (hopefully under 6hrs or 545hrs). And I guess in 2010, I would like to try a half biathlon or even a full biathlon! Probably plus an overseas race! And hopefully, I can finally learn diving in 2010!

6. Spend more time with my loved ones
In 2010, I will try to spend more time with my loved ones instead of focusing on my work on the time... :)

That's about it!

I'm so excited about 2010! YEAH!
