Weekend

I just woke up from nap. It was a long 3 hrs nap! My god. I guess I must have been too tired. Haha.

We had a programmer's gathering at Andy's new place yesterday. It's good to catch up with them as I've not seen them for a long long time! I realize nowadays the new flats are getting smaller and smaller. The kitchen (after installing the cupboard) is as big as the bathroom! JH and I stayed until 3.3opm before we left his place for chalet.

We started preparing the BBQ food while my sis they all brought Gwyneth for a swim. By 6pm, we could start the fire and start BBQing. :)

Basically, we had junk food for the whole night. Haha. I am a fan of BBQ food. We also had swensen's special ice- cream cake and it was definitely a good dessert. It's so yummy. Hehe.

By 10+, we cleared up the mess and went back to the chalet. By 12+, we were all ready to sleep. But, the teenagers outside were so noisy that I couldn't sleep well the whole night. :(

All in all, it was a great weekend! :)

Huat ah!

My secondary school friends met up for dinner at Seafood Paradise to celebrate Jordon's birthday and to lo hei together. I would feel weird if I don't lo hei with my secondary school friends. Coz it's like a SOP to us nowadays. Haha. To my disappointment, we were told that there are no crabs at all! DUH! It's strange that it seems like Singapore is facing a shortage of crabs! I'm so upset that I couldn't eat my favourite butter crabs! I am having a strong craving for crabs! Argh! Other than that, it was a great dinner with them. As usual, we talked about old school days... : ) 14 years of friendship...

I'm so glad that I am off today as I still feel tired despite being on off on Monday. : ) 2 more working days to go before weekend! Anyway, I would be going for MRI scan later in the afternoon. Though I am kinda reluctant to go for the scan (sometimes, it is better not to know too much about your health, isn't it?), I guess I should just go and get it checked once and for all. Good luck to myself ya!

This is a busy week for me as I would be home later every night till Friday! I would be going to Andy's place for Prog CNY gathering before going for my sis' chalet cum BBQ on sat! Yeah! I love BBQ! Heehee.

Tired

After working for 5 consecutive days, I'm so tired. I would be so busy at work that I would be having a bad headache by the time I knocked off from work. I'm so glad that I am on off tomorrow. If not, I think I would faint in branch. Haha.

I was supposed to attend the uni gathering at Jovan's place last night. However, it seems like many people couldn't make it and hence it was postponed.. Then, JH and I had dinner with his friends (Soon Soon with gf and Jess) to celebrate Jess' birthday. We went to Melben (Toa Payoh) and we were so disappointed when we were told that we could only order ONE crab! This is so crap! In the end, we didn't have a happy dinner at all. :(

After that, we went to Harry's at Novena for a drink before we went home...

Limin is back in Singapore and due to her busy schedule, I could only meet her for dinner at Sun with Moon on Thursday. It was a great catch up session with the girls... I'm going to miss her so much!

Chinese New Year 2010

I'm so glad to be home slightly earlier today as I'm feeling so tired! I've been sleeping for less than 4 hours for the past few days. I'm dead beat but feeling happy.

I woke up at 7+ (earlier than my usual waking up time when I go to work) yesterday morning! Then my relatives came to my place to have vegetarian lunch together. I'm glad that my uncle seems to be feeling better. It's good to see Ah Seng and his family. :) After lunch, we watched TV together while waiting for princess to wake up to go to temple.

After that, Alan drove me to JH's house. I was busy doing the scrap book while he was busy entertaining his relatives. Around 5+, we went to town for dinner. We wanted to eat Sushi Tei but it was closed! : ( In the end, we had a not-so-happy dinner at Waruku. So sad. I guess I will not want to go Waruku for at least 3 months. Bleargh.

Lucky me had gotten free tickets on V Day and so we went to SG Flyer after dinner! We waited at the linkage bridge for my sis and Alan to take the SG Flyer together. It's my third time taking SG Flyer! :) Gwyneth seems to love SG Flyer as she was having so much fun in the capsule!

We had some horrible ice-cream before we went back home... Such an unhappy dinner with unhappy dessert. Bleargh...

Upon reaching home, I had a quick bath and then I took a cab to Yuanzheng's house. He had moved house and his new house is nice! Anyway, I had no luck for the whole night as I lost $30 in less than 2 hrs! Bleargh... By 2.30am, I was so tired and sleepy that I got to go home. Yuanzheng was really nice to walk with me to the main road to take cab home.

As for today, JH came my place to bai nian early in the morning. After that, we went to my grandma's place. My auntie had gone out to buy some stuff so we stayed at her place until she's back home. My auntie is JH's colleague and today they finally met each other. Haha. It's a small world, isn't it?

Around 11+, JH and I left my grandma's place to watch movie, Little Big Soldier. This show is so funny! I've enjoyed the movie. Haha. I love Wang Lee Hom! After movie, I went back home to take a short nap before going back my grandma's place for dinner. My family is the first family who had reached my grandma's place. I'm so happy to see Justin with his gf! It's good to see my relatives... And as usual, some of them thought that I'm married with kid. Argh!

All in all, it was a good dinner with good food! Yummy!

I'm so happy to be home now.... Just one more day of holiday, and it's back to work... So, I guess I definitely must sleep early tonight.

Time flies when you're having fun! I wish we can have 15 days of holidays!

Happy New Year to all!

I had a good reunion dinner with my family yesterday. I love Chinese New Year as it's a festive season which I get to "catch up" with my relatives and friends. And, most importantly, I get to eat good and nice food! Heehee.

After dinner, my parents and ah nei gave me ang pow to me while I gave ang pows to my parents and ah nei too. All I wish for CNY is good health for my family especially my ah nei and grandmother. For this year, she seems to be very confused and her legs are in pain. So, I hope she will have good health in Tiger year.

Wishing all of you a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year! May Tiger year be a good year for everybody in career, relationship, health and everything we do! Huat ah!

A bad day

I had a super bad day today.

It was a busy day... with customer complaints... And to make things worse, I also got a scolding from my mum... :(

I really feel like crying lo...

I was feeling really down and I didn't eat anything for dinner...

I just hope tomorrow will be a better day for me.

3 more days to Chinese New Year!

After resting for 2 days, it's time to go back to work tomorrow! This is going to be a short week as I only have 2.5 working days to go. I just hope that all the customers who come to the bank will be in happy mood. Happy customers = No complaints = A happy day for me! Haha.

Just 3 more days, and it will be Chinese New Year! Yeah! It's time to feast, drink, gamble and have fun! Yeah! I love Chinese New Year!

A busy Sunday

I was very busy at work today as we were kinda shorthanded with 2 staff on MC. Luckily, everything went on smoothly though there was a little bit of issue in the later part of the day. I was super tired when I knocked off at 8.30pm today. It's going to be a long, busy period for me as I guess I'm going to be busy all the way till March. Sian. 9 to 9 till March isn't fun at all. : ( Most importantly, it's definitely not fun when most people only have 3 working days (0 working day for some) next week when I have to work for 5 consecutive days next week. =(

Limin is back and because of my long working hours, I find it difficult to meet up with her. ARGH! So sian. Also, Andrea will be back in Singapore. I hope I can meet up with her too.

Hope tomorrow will be a better day!

A happy weekend

It was a wonderful night for me last night! I had a great dinner at Jumbo (my favourite crabs crabs!) and I had received a nice present and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from JH. :) I'm so happy!

I went to airshow early in the morning today. Thanks to Liewen, we could take a free ride to the airshow in his brother's car and it's FREE. Also, we had a carpark pass which means that we do not have to take the shuttle bus and we can just drive in. It's so cool!

The weather is really hot. Luckily, I've brought my jungle hat, sun block and sunglasses. If not, I would be sunburnt for sure! Haha. Liewen is really very nice to help us to take photos with his powerful camera. Haha.

After walking one round, looking at the aircraft, we went to the spectator's area for the aerial display. I was disappointed to know that Black Knights won't be performing this year. :( The aerial display was kinda normal. I guess it would be much better with Black Knights' performance. The weather was so hot that I had a strong craving for ice cream! And it was damn shiok to eat my favourite lime ice cream under the hot sun! (By the way, the ice cream costs $2! wth)

After the display, all of us rushed into the air-conditioned exhibition room to cool down. We walked for awhile before we left the place. Liewen's brother drove us to Tampines for lunch. I had Carl's Jr for the 2nd time in my life. It's quite nice, but personally, I don't really like the bread. It tastes weird. We also had coffee at Coffee & Toast before we took cab to Suntec...

By the time we reached Suntec, I was feeling very tired and stoned. I was so tired. Basically, I was merely following the guys... Haha. I'm just too tired...

And so, I went home around 6+...

I'm so glad to be home now. :)

And it feels sucky to know that I got to work tomorrow... ARGH!

My precious off day

Just like the past few years, it's super busy at branch during this pre-CNY period. Non-stop queue and endless complaints from customers. What's up with everybody? CNY is a happy occasion and all of them should be happy mood! On the contrary, some of them act as if the bank owes them money.

I stayed till 9.30pm last night and I was really exhausted. Luckily, I am off today, if not I would feel super sian last night. I had a good sleep and I feel good today! :)
