Back to the history... Titanic

Times flies when you're having fun. My long weekend is ending. In fact, I am only left with one more day to enjoy. For the past few days, I have been waking up late at 8 or 9 plus before going for jog. I simply love long weekend.

On Saturday, Yuxiu, sis, Alan, Gwyneth and Jianhui went to MBS for Titanic's exhibition. To our horror, there was such a long queue! We queued for about 2 hours before we could enter the exhibition. It's total madness. There were a lot of artifacts from Titanic and it's interesting to know more about the shipwreck. It was totally a tragic incident.

After that, we went to Ding Tai Fung for dinner! We were famished. Luckily, we didn't have to wait too long before it's our turn. We ordered a lot of food and it was good! =p

As for Sunday, Jianhui and I watched the movie, Battleship. The movie was good! The male lead looks like Michael Owen. =p It was totally a great movie! After movie, we went to eat Ichiban! We were such regular customers of Ichiban that the auntie recognized us. We got nothing to do after dinner and so we decided to go Holland Village for ice cream! Holland Village is so happening, even for a Sunday. We ate Cold Rock which wasn't very nice.

It's a happy weekend coz I don't have to work on Monday and Tuesday! Hehe.

My long weekend!

Today is the beginning of my long weekend! Hurray! Though it is going to be a long weekend, I still think that time is not enough for me. We are just so greedy, isn't it? Anyway, it is definitely going to be a fun-filled weekend.

We went for company retreat to StarCruise Virgo last weekend! On Friday, we all rushed to board the ship by 6.30pm. By 6.30pm, all of us were on board! =p After checking in to our room, we went for our dinner! My roomies are Ailing and Jenny Leong! We went to the poolside for dinner. There's BBQ food but food wasn't that fantastic so I did not eat much.

After dinner, we went for a walk around the cruise before the committee members met up at Reception for a short meeting.

Thereafter, we all gathered at Level 13 for some chillout time with the rest! Around 11 plus, then we all went back to our room. Ailing went for supper while I went back to room to rest.

As usual, I didn't sleep well. (What's new? Since when I can sleep well?). In the morning, we had our morning event. Daphne and I are the EMcee for the event. We were practising on stage while waiting for the rest to gather at Lido.

Finally, we started the event. To my relief, all of them participated actively in the "safety drill". I wasn't feeling that nervous so everything went on quite smoothly. Thereafter, we passed over to Judy and supervisors for presentation.

We had a short teabreak and group discussion before we took a group photo. Then, it's lunch time! Ailing and I went back to room to change to our beach wear before going for lunch. Sylvia they all were nice to chop seats for us! Lunch was not too bad.

Then, it's time to go Redang!

And on such a hot day, what's the best thing to do? Drink a can of cold, cold coke! It costs RM7! Nevertheless, it's worth it! The weather is really hot so we sat down to chit chat and went to shop for souvenirs!

The rest decided to go back to the ship while Ailing, Ivy and I decided to go for a dip in the beautiful waters!

By 4 plus, we took some photos before we decided to go back to the ship to get ready for dinner and the chill out night!

And you know what? I finally won something from the lucky draw! I won the 11th prize!

All in all, it was a fun night! We had free flow of drinks and lots of fun!

I was so tired by the time I went back to my room.

The next morning, Ailing and I went to Jacuzzi before going for breakfast. It's time to check out.

All in all, it was really a great trip! I had enjoyed myself a lot! And my wonderful bf came to pick me up from Harbourfront Centre! Hehe.

Busy April

April is simply a busy month for me. I have meeting almost everyday after work and work is getting more and more busy for me too.

Last weekend, my sis booked her company chalet at Downtown East. I enjoy going to chalet as it's like a mini getaway and I can BBQ! :) We had BBQ for 2 nights. Food was really good. =p However, I didn't sleep well as usual. I couldn't sleep at all. As a result, I didn't rest enough over the weekend. I am feeling so tired this whole week. Yawn Yawn.

Anyway, my department is going for StarCruise this Friday! This is my first time going on a company retreat! Feeling kinda excited! Just hope that I don't fall sick as I am starting to feel so tired that I feel like I am going to fall sick.

Just 2 more days to our retreat! Ganbattle!

2XU Compression Run 2012

Somehow, 2XU run is my first race of the year again. I was down with a bad flu before I fell asleep last night, but thankfully, I'm all well again this morning.

The route is kinda boring. It does not help that I have not been training for the run. I'm just so glad that I had completed it with my sis. Also, I feel so loved to have Jianhui cheering for me and Papa Alan woke up early to send us for the race too. My conclusion is, running 10km without training is okay, but running more than 15km without training requires effort and mental power. Haha.

After our race, we went to Suntec for our happy breakfast as usual! This is definitely my SOP after each race! McD is definitely my happy food!

As for rest of the Sunday, I just want to relax at home... I am feeling damn tired but I simply don't have to nap on Sunday as I would always feel SUPER blue after waking up from Sunday nap.
