Getting married - 安床 & 过大礼

It's about 2 weeks to my wedding and I'm getting more and more excited!

This had been a busy weekend for us as we completed 安床 & 过大礼! On Saturday morning, we went to our Senja and changed into a nice, red bedsheet for our new bed. Soon, my dad came with Theresa and Josh - the chosen one who will be helping me to jump on our bed. He helped us to roll and jump on the bed before we put the items on the plate and left it on the bed. I'm so happy that we finally have a bed! Haha.

Then, it's time to relax. After resting at Teck Whye, we went to Cathay to watch movie, Soar into the Sky. It's a nice and relaxing movie by Rain. =p A movie with tears and laughter which I would recommend to all. If you haven't catch this movie, do catch it soon!

We had a simple dinner at Pizzahut before we went back home to rest.

As for today, it's an auspicious day for 过大礼! Early in the morning, Jianhui came to my house with a lot of stuff! We took some photos and exchanged gifts. Basically, it's a simple ceremony. =p Then, we brought some of the stuff back to Teck Whye with a bag full of my new clothes .

And this pretty sums up our busy weekend. Counting down to our wedding day!

We hope our relatives and friends are getting excited too!

Happy Birthday to Gwyneth

Happy Birthday to my dear princess, Gwyneth!

For her 4th birthday, I had booked my company's NSRCC (with the help of Ann Tay) to celebrate her birthday. My sis had bought many beautiful balloons; prepared goodie bags for the children; ordered buffet and even ordered cake from Pine Garden. Gwyneth was very happy playing with Dion and her other friends. It's definitely a very happy birthday celebration for her!

Counting down...

It's getting exciting... Each and each day is passing by so fast. There are so much things to do with so little time. =p

All our weekends are packed with activities. I just hope that we will get most of the things done latest by October so that in November, we can concentrate to move in to our new house. Then, everything will be in place.

Weekends just passed by so fast. It's back to work tomorrow again. Let's pray for a smooth and happy week ahead!

Busy Weekend

It had been a busy work week for me and I was totally looking forward to weekend to rest. Nevertheless, it was totally a busy weekend for me!

On Saturday morning, Ailing and I took cab to Marina Barrage early in the morning for BBCSC's Sports Day! =p We were tasked to design the kite and then followed by caterpillar walk and jumping in gunny sack! It was my first time trying the gunny sack. It was very fun but tiring. Haha. Then, we tried to fly our kite. Unfortunately, our kite "met" with an accident and it could not fly at all. =(

After this, it's time for rope skipping for 4 people. We had a great time practising and skipping.

Though my team did not win, I had lots of fun at BBCSC's Sports Day. Good job to the organizing committee!

After the event, we went for buffet lunch at The Gallery! The food was normal, but I simply love the OTAH! Yummy!

Then it's dating time with Jianhui. While waiting for him to come to town, I was so tired that I waited for him at McD. I just want to drink lots of water and sit down. Haha. I was basically so thirsty that when we met up, we went to HK Cafe for my favourite peach tea. And then, we went to McD for light snacks and drinks again! Haha. Basically, I'm drinking lots and lots of water.

Around 5+, I met up with sis and Alan. We're going for Fright Fest at SG Flyer. We had dinner at Imperial Treasure with their Austville's friends then we walked to SG Flyer. Luckily, we were relatively quite early and so we didn't have to queue for too long. I would think that it's quite worth while to go for this walk in the forest. =p We can see that there's a long queue forming up after us. The actors and make up are really good. I screamed quite a number of times and sometimes, I was so scared that I would reverse or run away from the "ghosts". Haha.

Happy Lunar Birthday to me!

It's my lunar birthday today! Happy Birthday to me!

After work, Jianhui and I went to City Hall for a walk before we went to Jumbo for our favourite crab feast! We ordered the usual chilli crab and herbal prawns. And to our delight, it was served quickly to us! However, Jianhui was complaining that the crab and prawns were not that fresh. The buns were good as usual!

Jianhui also bought my favourite Bakerin's Strawberry Shortcake for me! And you know what? The complimentary birthday cake from Jumbo is also from Bakerin. As a result, it had caused quite a bit of confusion.

All in all, it was a good dinner at Jumbo!

GCB D&D - Heroes & Villians

We had our GCD D&D at Ritz Carlton last Friday! It was a great night with my colleagues and most importantly, I won $30 NTUC vouchers too! Haha.

For BBCSC, the theme is Eastern Legend and so we all decided to wear Cheong Sam!

Happy Birthday to me!

Time had passed by extremely fast this year and today, it's my birthday! On this special day, I would always feel so loved and blessed with well wishes from my family and friends.

I had received my first birthday present from Jianhui! He had bought me a bouquet of beautiful bears (lotso's babies) for me! I love the "flowers" a lot! It's so cute, isn't it?

When I was busy at work yesterday, I was surprised to receive a bouquet of flowers! There's no name on the card, but you know what? From the handwriting, I knew that it was from Ailing! Haha. I'm so smart, isn't it? I know her so well that I can even recognize her handwriting! Haha.

My sis had specially taken leave to accompany me when she knew that Jianhui would not be able to celebrate my birthday with me! She's so sweet, isn't it? I must have done many many good deeds to have such a wonderful sister who loves and dotes on me so much. In the morning, she passed me her first present for me! She had bought a lovely Precious Moments sister figurine for me! When I see the figurine, I am so touched that I wanna cry as it's a symbol of our sisterly love. Thanks sis for such a lovely gift to bring to my new house. I'm going to miss everybody at home (especially you) when I move out.

It's our sisters' time today! We were going to Batam together for 3 hours spa massage! We had a quick lunch at McD's then we boarded the ferry! Somebody from the spa came to fetch us and it's so near that we reached the place within 10 minutes? Then, we started our 3 hours of relaxation time. However, I was so stressed about wedding preparations that I didn't sleep during the whole session. Nevertheless, I had enjoyed the massage, body scrub, body wrap and the milky bath! =p

After that, we took the ferry back to Singapore for dinner! And we had my favourite steak from Jack's Place! Papa Alan and Gwyneth came to join us too! Jianhui also came to meet us when he booked out from camp. I'm so happy to celebrate my birthday with them! =p My sis also surprised me with a birthday cake from Jack's Place!

All in all, it was a great birthday celebration for me! Thanks to everybody for the well-wishes! I may not be the richest girl on early, but I am a lucky girl to have a wonderful family and many good friends.

PS: Happy Birth-day to Weipeng & Aili's beloved son who has the same birthday as me! =p

Sloggi Slumber Party 2012

My sis had won the competition for Sloggi Slumber Party 2012! Thanks to her, we could go for hotel stay at Wanderlust Hotel, a boutique hotel at Little India.

When I first stepped into the room, I was so in love with the room decoration! There are many colourful balloons and the room is so beautiful! I guess it's my first time staying in a boutique hotel! Sloggi was really sweet to give each of us a happy goodie bag! There are bra, panty, umbrella, cute luggage tag plus Hello Kitty mask! All of us were happily exploring our goodie bag! And there are beautiful cup cakes from twelve cupcakes too! I simply love the cup cakes form twelve cupcakes! It's amazingly not too sweet and yet it's so nice, especially red velvet cupcake!

And then we started to take photos with the balloons and do all sorts of poses! It's really fun! =p To my surprise, my sis bought a princess crown, bride's veil and a bachelorette slash for me! Haha. It's also my hen's party. No male stipper, no alcohol and no truth or dare games, but I'm happy to spend time with my dearest sister and good friends, Celene and Yuxiu. It's a pity that Yinqiu couldn't join us as she's down with a flu while Limin and Wanlin are not in Singapore.

Then we went for dinner at Itacho at Bugis Junction. We were quite full from the cup cakes and so we didn't eat much. We met up with Papa Alan and Gwyneth at Ji De Chi to buy desserts then we drove back to Wanderlust Hotel!

It's time for my birthday celebration! So thoughtful of them to buy a birthday cake to celebrate my birthday in advance! Yuxiu, thanks for buying the cake for me! =p

After the cake, we continued to take more photos with ideas from Papa Alan!

All in all, it was a great day for me! I'm so blessed with a wonderful sister and friends who had made time just for me! Thanks for everything, especially my sister for sharing this slumber party with us!
