2nd day of Chinese New Year

Just like last year, Jianhui and I went Paulaner for lunch! It's peaceful and quiet. Quite shiok to enjoy nice beer with good food at Paulaner. We ordered sausages, fries and even chicken wings. Definitely a very satisfying and full lunch!

After lunch, we made our way to Seletar Mall! We're going to watch movie with my family! It has been ages since we watched movie together! Dad fetched us from Sengkang MRT and off we go to Seletar Mall. We watched Jackie Chan's movie - Dragon Blade. The movie was kinda disappointing as it's too depressing to watch during Chinese New Year period. I guess Ah Boys to Men 3 - Frogmen is definitely more entertaining.

After movie, we went to Aunt Lydia's house for dinner. Many of my relatives were already there. =p Dinner was good and I was really full. Chinese New Year is really all about eating. haha.

Dad even drove us home. So sweet of my dad. He figured that it would be difficult for us to get a cab so he drove us home. =p

Oh my goat! It's Saturday today. Why time always seems to pass by so fast when we are having fun? Seems like our long holidays is ending soon. I guess all of us will feel super blue tomorrow. Haha.

Meanwhile, let me enjoy my beautiful Saturday and Sunday! It's weekend!

Busy February 2015

February has been quite a busy month for me. And you know what? Today is already 20 February 2015! What have we done so far this year?

We went for our first race of the year - Safari Zoo Run 2015! This is Gwyneth and my mum's first 6km run! So proud of them that they completed the run! =p All in all, it was a good relaxing run. Looking forward to my next race in March!

As for Valentine's Day, Jianhui and I went for Chen Lye & Naomi's wedding lunch at Halia. A nice wedding lunch before we went out just like an ordinary Saturday. Everyday is like Valentine's Day as long as you have your loved one with you.

Jianhui knows that I love flowers so without fail, he bought me a bouquet of flowers bears that will never die! I simply love them!

As I am writing this post, it's already 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Happy Meh Meh year to all! It's Chinese New Year period again and definitely the time to feast and enjoy life. While all of us indulge in endless of good food, let's not forget to exercise (to burn out the extra fats and calories) and to eat in moderate to prevent gastric problems!

This Chinese New Year is the first Chinese New Year without ah nei and popo. It feels weird and sad without them actually. But I guess, I should be thankful to have my family with me. I would urge all to treasure their family (esp their grandparents and parents) as they are growing older faster than we can imagine. Treasure the kinship as this is something that cannot be brought be money. I believe that my ah nei and popo are watching over us and they would wish that we can all live in happiness, harmony and in peace.

As per every year's arrangement, on Chinese New Year's eve, Jianhui and I went to my parents' place for lunch.

After lunch, I had a great time playing with my nieces, Gwyneth and Charlotte. They are growing up so fast. In a few years time, they probably will stop playing with me or they would start asking me to bring them for shopping? Haha.

Around 4 plus, Jianhui and I went back to Teck Whye for dinner. My mother in law cooked a lot of food for us. She even tempted us with lots of snacks to eat after dinner. # eatingnonstop #howtoslimdownlikethat #fatdieus

After dinner, we went back home to rest. It had been a long day for me. =p I was so tired that I didn't even watch the countdown show.

For the first day of Chinese New Year, we went to my parents' place for vegetarian lunch. My brother and his family couldn't join us as they went Batam.

Alan drove us to Teck Whye after lunch. Thanks to him, we could reach Teck Whye earlier. =p We continues to eat more snacks at Teck Whye. Haha.

After all the nonsense food, we went out to watch movie - Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen. The movie was quite entertaining and funny. Definitely a good movie to watching during Chinese New Year!

We had Nam Nam before we went back home. It's our first time having Nam Nam at Plaza Singapura as there's always a long queue on normal days.

I simply enjoy myself these few days - not working and just feasting. 3 more happy days to go! Hehe.
