She’s no longer a baby... 25 months old

Lexuan is 2 years and 1 month old! We just went for parents meeting session last Saturday and we were told she would be promoted to N1 next year! So fast! To me, she’s still a baby!

Anyway, she didn’t go school for the whole of November (almost). After down with HFM, she was down with diarrhoea which was quite bad as she LS more than 10 times a day, even in the middle of the night. She LS so much until her butt is Super red with her skin peeling off. Luckily I managed to take day off to bring her to see Dr Tan before he went on leave. Just when we thought she was much better, she came back with stomach flu again after going school for 2 days. And thereafter, both Jianhui and I were down with stomach flu too. It was quite bad for me as I couldn’t stop vomitting and LS in office last Friday. I had to see doctor to get medicine to stop the vomitting.

Lexuan likes to wear Hello Kitty and she will always asks to wear Hello Kitty. If not, she will want to wear bear bear or rabbit. She started to wear Long pants too. I think she sleeps better with long pants. She still likes her lion and will bring him everywhere she goes.

Oh yes, she went for her first official race on 29 November 2019 - Standard Chartered Kids Dash! It’s her first official race and she ran for 600m! We signed up for 2 parents and 2 kids but the organiser didnt let Jianhui in as he didn’t have a kid with him. Anyway, I am happy that she enjoyed the short run. It’s her running medal earned by herself! Good job Lexuan!

Now she likes to take welfie with us with her in the middle. She will grab both of us by our necks with her hands and smile happily to the camera. ❤️ And now she will always asks for baa baa black sheep which means she wants to watch YouTube videos. We try to limit her time on phone as we do not want her to wear specs at such young age. She loves watching tv too. Sigh.

Oh ya, she loves eating our food and she wants to eat with us! If you feed her halfway and she sees that you are also eating, she will want to eat our food instead. She loves soup and will always asks me to pour soup for me. She also loves to drink soup like me by sipping directly from the bowl instead of using spoon. Her favourite food now includes fishball, carrot and cheese. And of course ice cream.

We started sending her to school and she is still crying for ah Ma every morning when she reaches school. I just hope that she will stay healthy and goes to school more often. And she will go school happily just like before.
