Our girl is 29 months old!

My little girl loves baby shark so much nowadays that she will keep asking us to play the songs for her on repeated mode. I am so going to dream of baby shark tonight. Nowadays she will keep asking us for phone. Sigh. Since when she becomes such a phone addict?

And she loves ice cream. She will keep pestering us for ice cream especially if she sees McDonald’s. Whenever we buy our favourite strawberry ice cream from Central, she will also kop the whole cup.

Oh ya when Lexuan sees us sleeping, she will say wake up wake up and giggle. Wonder where did she learn this from as we don’t say that to her. Haha. Probably from school? So when I wanna wake her up for school in the morning, I will also say wake up wake up. And she will reply me 我要睡觉... haha.

Now, almost every night I will sleep with her. And this little girl has weird request every night. She will ask me to scratch her legs, her back or her hair. Haha. I will oblige to all requests as long as she falls asleep. Oh ya, she loves the pill planner we bought for my FIL. Especially the pink one. So this has becomes her toys too. Haha. My girl has weird taste for toys.

Happy 29 months old baby! In times like this, mummy just hope that you stay healthy and happy! Love you baby!

Circuit Breaker

We are into our 5th day of Circuit Breaker today. Schools and non essential services are closed. Even bank are closing some of the branches.

Singapore started our Circuit Breaker from 7 April till 4 May 2020. Being a worker of essential services, I continued going to work on 7 April 2020. Retail shops are closed and only few F&B shops were open. Business is really bad for them. As we can no longer dine in, my colleagues and I brought our lunch boxes to da bao food from Tuesday onwards. I guess we will make it a habit to bring our own lunch boxes going forward. Next step will be for me to bring the hot thermal flask for my drink.

So this is the first Long weekend under Circuit Breaker. We seem to have more time as we can only go out for essential services since we can no longer go town for a walk. For Jianhui and me, we took this opportunity to rest more at home. I actually managed to take nap on weekend which is so rare on normal days.

From Tuesday till today, there are additional measures announced by the Government. This includes:

Stadiums are closed
Parents with kids can no longer deposit their kids at grandparents’ place daily
Elderly are encouraged to stay at home
All have to wear masks on public transport

And the latest announcement is, all beaches will be closed. Oh ya, public buses and MRTs start to have stickers on seats for social distancing too.

So much has changed since January 2020. There is a new rule or measure implemented everyday. So we just got to adapt as things change everyday.

This is the time all of us have to play our part.
