Phase 2!

19 June 2020 is a happy day for most. Why? Because it’s first day of phase 2 and we all can dine out with maximum 5 people in a group. I am happy for our F&B and cheers to less wastage!

Frankly, I expect myself to be more free at work and to be able to spend more time at home to do a major cleaning up. However, it did not happen that way. I have been super busy at work since the start of circuit breaker and I didn’t manage to do any cleaning up at home other than throwing some old clothes away. Many of my friends started to cook almost Everyday or even do baking. I even heard that cream cheese and baking stuff were sold out. I didn’t cook and neither did I do any baking. Haha. Oh but I have managed to learn how to wrap dumplings! This is an achievement for me too!

On the contrary, I have eaten a lot for the past 2 months past! Thanks to food delivery companies and courier company, I got to try a lot of food such as Burger & Lobster, Ah Tan wings, Egg drop (from sis), Keleroll (from Celene), Koiro Sandwiches, Awfully chocolate cake (from Celene), doughnuts from Doughnutshack, burnt cheese cake from Bakery Brera, 胖子榴莲 puffs (from Jenny Leong) and Oneprawn noodles, Liho and Mr Coconut (from Sylvia) and R&D (from Christina). Haha. And my best friend, Ai Ling has been cooking beehoon, fried rice, ngoh hiang, prawn fritters and baking mango cheesecake, banana cake for me.

And I also got to order my favourite food like Jumbo, Melben, Paulaner, Poon Nah City Home Made Noodle, Saboten and Nanbantei. That’s why Jianhui started to complain that I post nothing but food on Instagram. Haha.

During “circuit breaker”, I managed to cycle 40km with Jianhui! It is one of my longest cycling ride I ever did. I’m so proud that I completed Ironman Virtual race - Run 3km, Cycle 40km and Run 10km. 😊 Also, I managed to conquer my fear and cycled to town and made it back home safely! 我还算不错吧? We also clock longer distance than usual though I don’t know why 我越跑越慢. Must be due to the food that I have eaten. Haha.

Happy 31 months old to Lexuan

Now we are out of Circuit Breaker (phase 1) with effect from 3 June 2020. Trains are more crowded as more people are back to work and students are going back to school. Lexuan can start going school with effect from 8 June 2020 onwards too but we send her to school only on 9 June 2020. I can’t believe that this year passes by so quickly that we are already half way in 2020. Today is 11 June which means Lexuan is 31 months old!

She has grown up a lot for the past few months. On 21 May 2020, she surprises us by saying 新加坡没有开, 飞机没有开! Wonder how she knows that? She must be having withdrawal symptoms like us from not travelling! She can imitate what we say word by word now. She says things like 妈妈感冒了 when I sneeze and will take tissue paper for me. Lately, she will say scared scared lizard and give a scared scared look. It’s so cute that I must record it down.

She likes to eat Bin Bin biscuits, McDonald’s coconut pie and fries. Now that we can only dabao food home to eat, she will come and kop our food. And she knows food panda will deliver food so she will says pink panda 还没有来. She now knows how to lock the main door and open door herself too. So she will be very excited whenever there is delivery. Haha.

Oh ya, she now likes to climb up and down. Nothing is beyond her reach now. Just last weekend, she climbed up using chair to reach our display cabinet. She saw my precious tsum tsum and Melody car collection and started playing with them. She also searched our cupboards and started playing my Pusheen figurines. She likes colouring and will always ask me to colour with her. The yole delivery always comes with a colouring sheet so she’s really happy whenever we have yole.

She loves to sleep on Jianhui’s bed, so lately both Jianhui and I have been sleeping on her bed instead. I sleep better on her bed as compared to when I sleep with her as she will kick me and cause me to keep shifting positions. Maybe it’s time to buy her a proper bed though I think she will need a Super single as she is used to have a big sleeping area since young. Oh ya, she loves to act Monster as we shine HP light on her.

Lately she has been asking me to buy lan bao cake for her (the baby blue bird from angry bird) from Polar. Seems like now she is really like a toddler and will know what she wants. I would love to buy her the cake but lately Polar doesn’t sell this design.
