Happy 32 months Birthday to Lexuan!

Singapore is in phase 2 and everything seems to be back to normal. We can dine in restaurants and most shops are back in business again. Only pubs and entertainment outlets are not open yet. Bugis started to get real crowded. Now I kinda miss the peaceful Bugis during “circuit breaker” period.

Time seems to pass really quickly this year. No travel and just work, time just seems to pass so quickly but monotonous. It’s 11 July 2020, the day after polling day (with shocking win of Sengkang GRC by Workers’ Party).

Happy 32 months to Lexuan! Sometimes I look at her and I realize she has grown up a lot. At times, it’s a struggle to bring to school in the morning as she will says she doesn’t want to go school, she wants to sleep. And yet when she finally wakes up, she goes to school happily. She will even say bye bye to me happily. I can see that she enjoys going school and yet sometimes she struggles to wake up in the morning.

Now she will tell me when she wants to pass urine. So, I guess I just have to be more hardworking in reminding her to go toilet if I want to toilet train her. In fact, when we went to my sis’ place recently, she went to toilet a couple of time and her diapers are dry! 😊 But lately she is drinking a lot of water at night and so her diapers are super wet and soaked. Wonder how should I train her to go toilet during the night? Does it mean that she will ask me to bring her to toilet in the middle of the night? Nowadays, she will always call me in the middle of the night just to be with her... or help her to find her pacifier. 真的是累死我了。

Oh ya, we bought her a bicycle from decathlon. She can’t cycle yet but she has been practicing at home like bike trainer. Hope she can learn how to cycle soon! We even brought her bike to ECP for her to practise.

She enjoys bathing with me every night after I knock off. She will lie in her bathtub and tell me that she’s lazy. I have to keep reminding her that she cannot be lazy. 😂

Her greatest fear now is lizard and butterfly. She will say I scared scared lizard or I scared scared butterfly. It’s so cute to see her action. Especially if she sees a moth inside the toilet, she will request to bathe outside the toilet.

She will pose to take photos with her 2 hands doing some 3 fingers action. When we celebrate my mother in law birthday recently, she’s so happy that she was clapping, singing birthday song, blowing the candles and even used her hands to play with the cake. Haha.

At this age, she likes to choose her clothes. Oh ya, she will wear her Winnie the Pooh dress and says she’s a princess. Haha. We definitely didn’t teach her that. She also will swirl and dance to act as princess.

And now, she will ransack our fridge! She will take our things she wanna eat such as biscuits, chocolates, grapes or even ice cream. I think we need to buy fridge lock soon. And now she is still very glued to handphone. She will cry non stop to ask us for handphone. Sigh. Any tips to make kids quit handphone? Currently, we are already trying now to use phone in front of her.

July is going to be a happy month as it’s Jianhui’s birthday month. I hope the count for Covid-19 cases will drop and we will not go into “circuit breaker” again before his birthday. Praying hard.
