My girl is 33 months old!

 It’s a happy weekend as I am on block leave since 5 August 2020 and it’s Long weekend due to National Day’s holidays. It feels good that I can take a break from work though we should be at Finland if not for Covid-19. Nevertheless, I am very happy with my break so far! I wish I can extend my leave for another week! 🤭

Being on leave also means that I can spend more time with Lexuan! I will send her to school and fetch her from school. I think I am going to miss this so much when I am back at work. And most importantly, she doesn’t have to wait till 8 or 9pm for me to be back to play with her. 

Though I say this every month, I still wanna say it again. Time flies past so quickly. I can’t believe it’s August now. And  Lexuan is 33 months old! She’s going to be 3 soon! It’s National Day and Lexuan loves to wave her Singapore flag! 

She’s like a big girl nowadays. When it was Jianhui’s birthday last month, she knew that it was her daddy’s birthday. When I told her we need to buy cake, she will say the cake shop is behind Yakun! I didn’t know she will know such things though we go Yakun every weekend. 

She also started saying “I’m so tired, papa so tired”. It’s funny that she knows that we are tired or does she even know what does tired mean? 

She will also say “I’m a princess”. And so when I bought the Popmart princesses, she’s so happy. Those became her bathing toys everyday. Haha. She loves to play with the princesses’ figurines. 

And now she always wants us to hug her whenever we go out! It’s so tiring can. My back is breaking. So you can imagine I got to wear mask and carry her to school. It’s so hot so by the time I reach her school, I’m perspiring non stop. Talking about school, at times when we wake her up in the morning, she will say she doesn’t want to go school. Haha. And yet when she reaches school, she will wave bye bye happily to us. 

She loves riding her bicycle and she will pretend that she is selling ice cream! And she will pretend to collect money from us too! There are times she will tell you that the ice cream is out of stock. Haha. I am so loving her at this age! 

When I complain to Lexuan that papa bullies me, she will act angry and scold her papa. She’s so cute. Seems like I have gotten myself an alliance. Hehe. 

Oh ya, we brought her to Dentist for the first time too! It costs us $160! Super expensive but at least her teeth are clean and I am quite satisfied with the end results. But, we probably won’t bring her to see dentist until one year later. Haha. 

On her 33th month birthday, we brought her to take cable car in the morning! She’s so happy and we took many photos. It feels like we are on holidays, being a tourist in Singapore. Other than the hot weather, I kinda enjoy life like this.
