Happy 44 months old to Lexuan

Every month as I write this post, I am amazing by how much she has grown up and things she can do. She is about 14.5kg which explains why i am having difficulty to carry her nowadays. Everyday, she still asks me to carry her to school. And Jianhui will carry her on his shoulders when he picks her up from school or when we go out. 

Every time when we go ECP, we will ask her to sit behind us on the bike but she refused as she says that she is scared. Out of the blue on a random day, she suddenly says she wants to go cycling. And so we finally went cycling together as a family in ECP. She enjoys her ride behind daddy, eating biscuits and drinking. So we finally venture further to hawker using bike. Yeah! Another milestone achieved! 

She also likes campfire. So I took out my pusheen lights and we will decorate our room with the lights together with my tsum tsum umbrella. The tsum tsum umbrella is her “cafe”. Oh ya, I bought her a kitchen set lately. She’s happy and will “cook” for us. Even I also think the kitchen set is fun. Things we do at night together .

At this age, she also recognised the route to Marina Square, like she will know where to enter the shopping mall. And regular places that we always go like Paulaner, Yakun, etc. 

Now that she’s a big girl, she will scold me if I injure her and she will say, mummy, why you like that. That time, I accidentally injured her neck and I got scolding from her. Haha. She asks me not to do it again. Haha. 

Just like every kids, she loves to go McDonald’s. But so far, she only likes the fries, ice cream, corn, pancake and the toy of course. Recently, she starts to eat a bit of nuggets but she still doesn’t eat the burgers. She only likes to eat my double cheeseburger’s cheese, the cheese only. Haha. She is totally an ice cream monster. She will eat all our ice cream available at home. 

Recently, she starts to enjoy spraying herself with my perfume. Then she will ask me to smell her. Haha. Once, she sprayed the wrong side and the perfume got into her eyes. Since then, she is more careful and will only aim at her own body. 

She also started using Craftholic blanklet, the baby blanket Karen bought for her before she was born. Before that, she always sleeps without blanklet but lately maybe coz she is sleeping in aircon room, she wants the blanket. And yes, every night she wants to on the air con. I will sleep with her until she falls asleep before I go out to living room to sleep. On most nights, she will wake up in the middle of the night and ask me to sleep with her in the room. Then I will need to bring my pillows and bolsters to sleep with her. So sometimes, I will just sleep with her in the room so that at least I don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night. 

Not sure if she sleeps a lot in school or what, lately she sleeps at 11pm. This means that I got to sleep at 11pm. 累死我了！If I got home late, she will also tend to sleep late since she has a standard list of things to do with me - shower together, play paw patrol/peppa pig, read, drink milk and brush teeth. 

Talking about shower, she enjoys me helping her to massage her head when I wash her hair. And she also asks me for massage, just like daddy. Haha. Coz she knows I always help daddy to massage. 

She can finally spell her name and write her name in English. For Chinese, I think she still need to practise. At least for Chinese, she likes to say 撇捺，横，竖， 点. We have been speaking Chinese to her but she always replies us in English. It doesn’t help that her Teachers in school mostly speak English only. And everyday she will ask me to pick her up from school but sadly I can’t due to work. Sad. 

Thanks to Tianbao, we finally can bring Lexuan to home team swimming pool! Lexuan is really very happy and enjoyed herself. For this weekend, we also went Mandarin Oriental for staycation! She’s such a happy girl as the room comes with bath tub. She played inside the bathtub for at least 6-7 times? Haha. The room is fantastic with a good view of the MBS and floating platform and SG flyer and we are at level 19! Most importantly, we got late checkout at 4pm too. It comes with breakfast too! Overall, it’s a good stay! 

We are able to dine in now but with only 2 persons. So Lexuan and I have been sitting together with daddy sitting alone. So sad right? Luckily, we are moving on to next phase - dine in with 5 from 12 July onwards. Looking forward to have a proper family meal together outside.
