Our 45 months old baby

Lexuan is approaching 4 years old and I can really feel that she is growing up to be a toddler! 

She loves to play a lot of toys with me before she sleeps. At a result, she is sleeping late at 11pm as she wants to play all the things before she wanna sleep. For example, she wants to play “animals games” in which each of us takes turns to act as animals and the other person has to guess. She loves to act as flamingo by stepping one one leg. She will also wants to play her paw patrol toys, PJ mask, peppa pigs, lulu books, basically all the toys she has. She will ask her dad to carry her sideways and she will pretend she is an astronaut. She likes it when I use bolster to knock against her and sing the song, kill the beast. Now, she knows how to play the game, Tsum tsum. So every night, she will want to play tsum tsum and choose different Tsum. And she likes to use my coins and rubies. Sad. She is such a “spendthrift” that she almost used up all my coins and rubies. She also likes to pretend to have a cafe with superman and gang and my Sumikkogurashi as customers. She will always save the best food for baby tempura, Wonder Woman and joker! Somehow, she likes joker which I don’t know why. Haha. 

On a random day, she was asking for aeroplane lego after walking past the lego shop. So, I got her one red aeroplane lego in airport setting from BHG near my office. She loves it but also stopped playing with it after a while. This reminds me that it’s time for her to play lego again. 

She likes to draw and will take pen to draw her toys or animals. She will also ask me to draw which I will try my best to draw as I am not really good at drawing. Haha. She likes to play Gwyneth’s piano too so whenever we go to my sis place, she will want to play piano. 

At this age now, she wants to be like me. She wants high heels like me. She was really happy when we bought her a nice pair of flats from kiddy palace. Oh ya, I never really do pedicure or medicure but when we were shopping at orchard the other day, she suddenly told me she wants to do pedicure. She even pulls me to the nail salon. According to her, her friends got do Medicure. Kids nowadays grow up so fast ya? 

She likes to sing songs, especially the princess songs in which she will dance and sing. She will use bedsheet to pretend to be rapunzel’s long hair, and stands on the mattress to pretend to sail the sea like moana. Now, she will even correct me if I sing wrong lyrics. Haha. I can no longer smoke her now. Oh ya, when she sings ABC song, sometimes she will say A for mummy…. Haha. Coz of my name, Angeline. She can also confidently spells out her name. When I ask her what did she do in school, she is able to share and will even tell me if her teacher scolds her in school. She will also complain if her friends bully her. Overall, she enjoys going to school and this makes me happy. Last week, she even asks to go for 5 days school. 

Now she will also take care of me. When I have mosquito bites, she volunteers to take mopiko for me. And when I told her I misplaced my ez link card, she tries to help me find in the house and even asks my in laws if they have seen my card. Haha. Just yesterday, she was pestering me for an ez link card for herself. So, I guess we can make one card for her now. 

Another memorable thing to record down will be, she threw her pink pillow from our room last weekend. It didn’t fall on the ground but ended up on our 10th floor neighbour’s ledge. We had to go to opposite block to see where did the pillow end up on. So, daddy has to go to neighbour house and ask them for help. After 2 attempts, our neighbour finally managed tp throw the pillow down for me to collect. When the pillow dropped down, it’s totally such a magical moment. And when we brought home the pillow, this girl was just playing her phone. She didn’t know what the parents have gone through to get back her pink pillow. But since then, she treasures her pillows and will tell me that she cannot throw her pillow out the windows. Haha.
