One month to 4 years old!

Somehow, this year simply passes by too quickly. Lexuan is going to be 4 years old in 1 month time! 

She is getting very talkative and will talk/sing non stop until sometimes her daddy will ask her if she can stop talking. Haha. 

Now, she is totally a complaint queen. She will complain if I eat too much of the fruits and will take away from me. She will ask mummy to stop eating. Recently, I made some Christmas ornaments using clay for her. In the end, she complained that I used up all the brown and green clay and she can’t make a house. Seriously? Haha. 

She is able to remember the sequence of our birthdays for the family members. She will know it’s 公公，阿公，阿嬷，爸爸， 阿姨，妈咪，表姐，姨丈，婆婆 birthday and of course, she is looking forward to her birthday! 

She is enjoying going to school and play with her friends. She will tell me the happenings in school. Teacher Muriel told me that she drew a bus with mummy and Lexuan then at the end of it, she realized that she forgot to draw daddy. Haha. Daddy will be so sad man. But at least she remembers daddy eventually. 

On 17 September 2021, it’s a special day to remember. You know why? Because she actually made peanut butter bread for me by herself! I was lazy so I asked her to make peanut butter bread for herself, but end up she also made me one! I asked her why did she make one for me. She replied that because she scared later I’m hungry! Aw! This is too sweet! I hope you will continue to be such a sweet little darling. 

She was sick for quite long from 15 September to 22 September 2021. Eventually, she only went back to school on 23 September 2021. Once, When she was at 阿嬷 house, she actually got her head stuck inside the hole of the chair. My FIL had to buy a saw to save her. This girl is funny. While waiting for 阿公 to save her, she can still happily watch YouTube on tablet. 

Oh yes, this year, we finally got to carry lanterns on Mid-Autumn Festival! So happy! We bought her the noisy hello kitty lantern which sings non stop but at least she is happy. I got the traditional Sumikkogurashi paper lanterns for myself. As for papa, he’s happy playing with candles. 

She has been challenging me to draw monster trucks for her. Though I can’t really draw, at least she’s happy and this makes me very proud of my drawing too! Hahaha.

Now, she can really play games. She will want to play memory game with me if which we used Paulaner coasters with different designs. She also likes to play “washing Hands” game which works like snake and ladder. Sometimes, to win, she will play cheat and manipulate the dice. Haha. 

I was on block leave the whole of last week. It also means I got to spend more time with Lexuan by sending her to school and fetching her from school. She’s very happy and for once I don’t have to lie to her or come up with excuses why I cannot pick her up from school. I made use of this chance to bring her to River Safari on my own to see panda. However, it ended up to be a short trip as she was scared of the fishes on display! She wanted to go home immediately and didn’t really enjoy seeing the panda. By the way, Kai Kai was sleeping when we were there. I can only see the baby panda from the TV. She told me she wants to go to the place (aka zoo) with many many animals instead. Point taken. 

During my leave, I also managed to bring her to dentist to see Dr Han. So her teeth is very white and clean now! After the visit, she’s so proud that she told me her teeth are clean and mine are yellow. Her clean teeth cost me $160 okay? 

So, I was on leave and papa got to work. She’s so cute as she asked me daddy needs to work because he not enough money? Haha. Anyway I have used up most of my leave. For the next few months, jianhui will be the one happily go on leave.

Now she can also play lego and will make creative things using those small lego blocks the Teachers gave her as Children’s Day present. Oh ya, I just made her a chinese board game and she loves it. She is so happy to earn stars stickers. This motivated me to make more of such Chinese board game to teach her Chinese!
