Happy 4th birthday to Lexuan

Happy 4 years old to our baby girl, Lexuan! Thank you for choosing me to be your mummy! We are so happy to have you though there are times I don’t understand why you can be so stubborn to do things your way. (Traits inherited from daddy must be. Hehe)

She still wants to sleep with me every night. Lately, she even snatched my pillow, bolster and blanket. So poor mummy has no pillow, no bolster and no blanket. After a big drama of her crying non stop, she finally agreed to share with me the pillows and bolster. 🤣

As you know, Squid Game is so popular right? Even my girl knows about the green light and red light game and she even sings the song. I guess she must have learnt it from school or YouTube. Kids nowadays really learning a lot of things from internet. 

After so long, I finally bought playdoh ice cream. As what I have expected, it’s so messy each time she plays with it. I am a bit OCD so I cannot stand it when she anyhow mixed the colour. She loves it anyway. 

On 30 September 2021, it’s a milestone for her as she wear pampers to sleep! It’s an accident as I didn’t know she didn’t wear pampers until she wet herself in the middle of the night. It was madness as we had to clean the bed and mattress at 4am? Haha. She cut down wearing pampers nowadays. At times, when we are on cab with pampers on, she will say she wants to go toilet. When that happens, we need to distract her with other things. 

This year, the school celebrated Halloween and Lexuan is so excited about the party! She even told me the kids can dress up as witch, pumpkin or ghost, etc. Haha. Luckily I managed to get costume, props and sweets from Cold Storage. She’s so excited that she kept on talking about it every night and was happy to go to school even on Friday when she’s usually at home. I’m so glad the she has enjoyed herself. 

She likes to play popping. She has dinosaur, heart shape, unicorn, square, hexagon and fries (kid from ah yi). She also likes to play tsum tsum, Neo mushroom game on my phone. She will say she wants to check her mushrooms and I keep all those special and new ones for her to harvest. 

Sabrina gave my girl a Crave nasi lemak soft toy. Lexuan loves it and will pretend she brings to school as lunchbox. She also likes to play with my Sumikkogurashi beanies. 

When VTL started recently, she suddenly got this idea to see aeroplane and so we brought her to the airport. However, when she realizes that we are not flying, she started crying non stop, saying she wants to take aeroplane. Baby, mummy also wants to take aeroplane but let’s wait first okay?

Her school/class recently got Covid-19 confirmed case. As a result, last Friday only 2 students attended school. Friday is her holiday so no difference for her. Since then, the attendance for her class is about 40%. Luckily, on 10 November 2021, got slightly more students and so she got to celebrate her birthday with her friends! And the best thing is, her teacher even took photos of her “birthday celebration” in school. 

Due to the recent measures, we can’t celebrate her birthday as a family. So my dad came by to our house last week without my sister and family. My sister ordered a super nice Pony cake for Lexuan! I love it and of course Lexuan loves it. Looking forward to 2nd part of her birthday celebration with my sis and family. 

On her actual day, we brought her to Yakun for breakfast. From 10 November 2021, we are supposed to be able to dine in together as family in 5s. However, Yakun is still taking a prudent approach of seating us in pairs and so we still can’t sit together. 

I ordered a big rainbow dash and pony balloons for her as surprise. We bought her a singapore version monopoly as her birthday present. We have been playing the small version from MacDonald’s so we thought it would be a good present for her. I am Looking forward to play with her. But hor, She always doesn’t like to lose and when she needs to go to the jail, she refused to go and will skip a step. Haha. 

We also went for staycation at her favourite park Royal collection hotel. It’s our lucky day as we got the upgrade to lifestyle room which comes with the window bay bed. Though we waited very long till 4.40pm before we got the room. In life, you gain some and you lose some I Guess. At least, I think the wait is worth is as Lexuan is very happy to see her window Bay bed. 

As usual, she had fun in her bathtub. The bathtub is really big and she could swim inside. Then we went to eat her favourite kolo mee before going Brewerkz. By then, she’s really tired and kept on telling us she wants to go back. 

Happy Birthday girl girl! 希望你天天开心，身体健康，越来越cute, 每天早点睡! Be kind and love your family. And must share pillow and bolster with mummy okay? Haha. Lastly, I hope we can travel together as a family again! Daddy & Mummy love you a lot!
