Happy 64 months to 66 months old (11/3 to 11/5)

So, our girl dropped her first tooth on 18 February 2023. The tooth was shaking and it suddenly dropped when she was playing at the ECP playground. 

The highlight for the past 3 months is definitely our trip to South Africa. Lexuan enjoyed herself a lot. She’s such a big girl that she even did a video of her talking about the trip just like a YouTuber. This trip is also like my “graduation trip” as I have left OCBC back after close to 18 years of employment. 

As my farewell present, weiting bought me the hawker card games which Lexuan loves it a lot. We have been playing it every night and it’s a good game to introduce all our favourite hawker food to Lexuan. 

She is definitely getting better at cycling! She can even bring her bike up and down on her own. So proud of my little girl! 

And she started to have spelling on 30 March 2023. She was nervous over the spelling and then it ended up that she was sick and so she didn’t have spelling test. She was sick since Wednesday night with high fever. It was extremely bad on Thursday night as her fever was so bad that both of us didn’t sleep the whole night. She would wake me up hourly. She was finally better on Friday but she complained that her lips were pain. She was in super bad mood on Sunday. 

Then it’s nightmare for us on Monday. She was crying non stop, going to school and in school. I guess I have been spending so much time with her until she misses me so much. She will keep saying “I scared I will cry in school”. It’s even worse that her bff in school, Calista is also not in school. She also complained that nobody plays with her in school. 

After crying to school for 2weeks plus, she finally stopped crying now. We are so thankful. She dropped her 2nd tooth in school in April. 

Lexuan can play hula hoop now.  She loves to paint. She also likes to play the Paulaner coaster memory game. Oh ya, we went to watch super Mario movie and she loves it! I also bought a gameboy for her so that we can play the super Mario game! It’s my ultimate favourite game! She says she wants to be like daddy when she grows up as daddy can fix things. She doesn’t want to be like me as I work late. Haha. 

She told us she wants to go Finland, Mario land (Universal Studio Japan), Disneyland and Iceland. Wonder where did she get her idea from man. 

I brought her to CCK mega playground. She was having fun and really getting very good at climbing obstacles. However, fun ended when she accidentally knocked her head against the metal pole and fell a bit down the rope obstacles. She was crying non stop and we quickly took a cab home. Luckily, she looks all good now. It was quite a bad knock so I was kinda worried that she might injured her brain or what. 

3 months passed by so quickly and now we are already in May 2023. This will mean that we need to do P1 registration real soon too! Good luck to us! 

Anyway, sad to say that, Lexuan is crying to school everyday in May again… sigh. She will say she will miss me. Seems like she feels that some of her friends don’t like her so she is feeling upset. Hope that things get better! 

It’s Mother’s Day this weekend! We had our celebration last week with my family, my MIL and dinner at dusk (treat from Jianhui)! I am happy and blessed to be Lexuan’s mummy! ❤️❤️ Lexuan, mummy loves you!
