Getting into the rhythm in school - 79 months to 81 months old)

So fast 3 months had passed! 

She can get very emo and will complain if I don’t look at her when talking to her. There was one night when I was jokingly telling her that I wanna send her to ah yi’s house because she is so naughty. After sharing this, she went to her bed crying and told me that i hurt her feelings. 

For Mother’s Day, she bought me a fan from school. She is a happy shopper in her school’s bookshop for sure. 

She told me she wanted to talk to my boss in Teams meeting and asked her why I had to work so late and cannot play with her. She also wanted to talk to Jianhui’s boss for asking him to go office everyday. She had this funny idea that she wanted to let us sit business class when she grows up and has money. So sweet of her. 

Oh ya, she told me she has a boyfriend, Wallace in school. Luckily she stopped saying this after a while. Haha. By the way, Wallace is a naughty boy in school. 

We had our first parent-meeting session. So glad that we survived first 6 months of school! All is good except that MDM Wang commented that she likes to interrupt people talking.

Play soccer and go Miami to meet Messi 

For celebration, we went Swensen’s and bought her 5 scoops of ice cream! She’s so happy of her school holidays. 

She won shiro first prize at seimon cho and she is so proud of it! 

I brought her to Splash at kids amaze (Punggol Safra) and she had fun during my block leave. Then we flew to US for holidays. She can clearly articulate about our road trip to the Uber trip. And for this time round, she managed to take scary rides in Disneyland. She has real fun in Disneyland. Oh ya, she has Lulu as her build a bear and she loves her! 

We also invited Calista to our house to play. Lexuan is really happy. Hope that they can continue to be good friends. 

She can feel emotions better. Once, she asked her daddy if he had a bad day at work as she commented that daddy came home and scolded her non stop.  I must say she is a very sensitive girl. Even sometimes she will complain me saying good night to her so angrily when I am just saying toneless.

For ah ma’s birthday, we went Haidilao. And she is so happy that ah gong and ah ma finally tried HDL. And I am so proud of her.

When Jianhui asked her to look for me at HDL herself at Plaza Sing, she managed to find the correct table! I nearly thought she went missing as I couldn’t find her outside. 

She had sore throat on 5 July 2024 and I had to make manuka honey drink for her. 

She fell down somewhere near senja and so she worn slippers to school. She started to learn spelling and 听写 on her own. 

She also prepared a surprise present for daddy without letting me know. So sweet of her. 

I had Grasshoppers concert in July and I had to persuade her to let me watch concert. She was complaining that I always go concert. Haha. And now she will complain if I am home late from work or dinner, saying I waste her time. Haha. 

She also secretly used my phone to call Pei Pei which I didn’t know. Haha. She has been talking a lot to xixi too. 

We bought her first crocs in cinnamon roll design. It’s so cute! Too bad there isn’t an adult version now. 

We played badminton at senja downstairs for a while. She definitely needs more practice as she cannot serve. 

She Loves this year’s NDP theme song - Not Alone by Benjamin Kheng and will keep listening to it and sing along. I must say I kinda like it too! 

She has a bad nose infection which breaks my heart. She says it is itchy and pain. Hope it gets better soon with the medicine we got from Doctor.
