Happy 8th Birthday to Lexuan (11 Sept to 11 Nov 2025)

Happy 8th birthday to Lexuan! She has been waiting so long for her birthday since last year! It has been a busy and fulfilling 3 months! 

In August, she invited her primary school friend, Charlotte to our house to play. They played from 1pm to 5pm and planned lots of activities like water balloons, Roblox, watched YouTube, etc. She was very happy. 

And the latest craze for all kids got to be Kpop Demon Hunters. It is like a National Day song for all as almost all kinds know how to sing the songs. Her favourite song is Take down and My Idol. My favourite is Golden and Soda pop. 

During September school holidays, we also went Kids in the room at Marina Square for the first time. We tried Pilot and Egypt room. It was really fun! 

We also went to Wild Wild wet! It was fun too. She loves the shiok river, giant wave pool, Ular-lah (my all time favourite too) and Kraken racers 

Though we didn’t travel, it was an activities filled one week holidays. We also went to Ocbc family day at USS. She is now brave enough to take the scary rides. We managed to queue early for the Minion Mayhem. She also took other rides like Enchanted, Transformer 2x and Accelerator. I was so exhausted at the end of the day. 

The we went to Kids in the room again. We tried the harder Kpop room which was really tough and the sushi. The sushi one was cute.  

It was sole parenting time for the first time when Jianhui flew to Korea for his ironman race. Both Lexuan and I miss him a lot when he was away. Come to think of it, Jianhui was never away from me for holidays since we got married. Haha. When we sent him off at the airport, Lexuan was really upset. She was crying and told me she misses daddy a lot and she wants to play tickle game with her daddy. She kept on calling her daddy when he was in Korea. 

She managed to book appointment to do her nails at HDL. This makes her really happy. We also had Play date with Felicia and Yoko. We played fun  claw, cow play cow moo. 

She was really excited to fetch daddy from the airport. But the moment he is back, they kept on quarrelling. Haha.

For Children’s Day, she went to make slime, her favourite activity. This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, she played with candles and fire. She finds it fun. Haha.

She has been relatively healthy until she suddenly fell sick on 14 October with fever and sore throat. The good thing is, it was 3 days PSLE marking days so she didn’t have to skip school. 

For a break, we went to Desaru over the Deepavali holidays! She was looking forward to go to the adventure water theme park! And this time round, she dared to take the most scary ride! It was a long queue though. It was also the first time she was willing to queue more than an hour. It was a good break at Desaru. Our family simply loves Desaru. We love the spread at The Westin. 

We have our regular chat with Lexuan. In one of the conversations, she said that Mummys focus is work and Lexuan. I feel really guilty as I have been really busy since September and I know that I spend lesser time with her due to work. Her definition of mummy’s work is read and reply emails and hold meeting. Good thing is, she said that Daddy’s focus is mummy.

I managed to buy her Kuromi costume for Halloween! We brought her to Halloween at Kiztopia - Terrors of the Twilight. She was nominated for top 10 best dressed. The younger kids won top 3. 

She had her first birthday celebration at HDL with Pei Pei and Anthony. Then we went again with my family. She simply loves HDL. 

On 10 November 2025, i was working from home and so i planted small little surprises for her throughout the day. I am so happy to see her so happy. On her actual day, she requested to do slime again. And we are HDL again. Dont think I will want to eat HDL for a period of time.
